Abstract: The present invention utilizes a high-speed intensive mixer in a fluidizing-type, solid-phase, neutralization reactor to blend solid-state alkali hydroxide with any humic acid sources. The final product is a dry humic acid salt. The purpose of this innovative method is to eliminate a series of complicated unit operations commonly employed by the traditional process. These removed steps may include dissolving caustic soda, mixing in a paste-like formation, extrusion, granulation, drying, and grinding, etc. The invention contributes to a simplified flowsheet, resulting in sharply reduced equipment investment, plant space, and labor and energy costs. All of these factors coupled with increased productivity will drastically lower the overall production cost. Also, the reduction of dust pollution will greatly minimize the impact in environmental protection and safety issues.

Abstract: A system and process for injection molding polymer articles is described. The system and process are designed to reduce gate blush. In one embodiment, an injection molding device injects a molten polymer composition into a runner that extends from an injection point to a gate. The gate is positioned adjacent to an opening leading into a mold cavity. In accordance with the present disclosure, the system includes one or more overflow passages that divert flow of the polymer composition so as to temporarily reduce the flow rate and pressure of the polymer composition entering the mold.

Abstract: The stackable trellis support system of the present invention comprises base and main trellis assemblies having wire mesh over the horizontal wire mesh frame assembly. The base trellis assembly allows additional sections to be added to the system, utilizing four main post apparatuses for connecting each trellis assembly. Any number of main trellis assemblies may be connected using the main post apparatus to form the stackable trellis support system. The base trellis assembly can be anchored in soil/ground using anchored rebar stakes to which the base post apparatus slides over and attaches, using locking bolts, allowing the height of base trellis assembly to be adjustable along the vertical axis of said rebar stakes, and perpendicular to soil/ground. The trellis side wire panels can be hung from said wire mesh frame assembly to provide vertical support.

Abstract: A smoking bowl for a water pipe comprised of a conical smoking chamber with a wide bottom aperture. The stem is inserted in a water pipe. At the base of the conical chamber is a narrow horizontal slit where a solid thin flat grate is inserted. When the grate is inserted it partially obscures the chamber's bottom aperture. A combustible material is placed in the chamber, with the grate engaged, and the material is smoked through the attached water pipe. When done smoking the grate is released from the chamber and the spent ash and resin is transmitted through the stem into the water pipe. The force of equalizing air pressure assists the transmittal of ash and resin. This action allows for heavy usage of the bowl before resin build up negatively affects the operation of this device.
