Abstract: A carnival pantyhose for Caribbean and Brazilian carnival costumes that includes two leg portions joined at a high-rising waistband, which defines front and rear wedge-shaped cut-outs extending toward the perineal region, and two wedge-shaped lateral portions extending above the hips to a position at or just below the inframammary region. Each wedge-shaped lateral portion terminates in an opening that allows a strip of the carnival costume to pass through, enabling removable attachment without sewing, stitching, fasteners, or modification of the carnival costume. The carnival pantyhose spans the outer side of the legs, hips, and lateral sides of the upper torso while leaving the front and rear torso areas corresponding to the cut-outs uncovered, preserving carnival costume aesthetics. Made of stretchable material, it conforms to varied body shapes and maintains positional stability. Optional fasteners, such as safety pins, may reinforce attachment to the carnival costume.

Abstract: A headgear assembly including a body configured to fit on a head of a wearer, and a shield coupled to the body. The shield is movable between an extended position where the shield is positioned to cover at least part of a face of the wearer, and a retracted position where the shield is positioned to not cover the face of the wearer, or to cover less of the face of the wearer compared to when the shield is in the extended position. The assembly further includes a retaining mechanism including a first circumferentially extending surface located on one of the body or the shield, and a second circumferentially extending surface located on the other one of the body or the shield. The first and second surfaces are configured to be able to engage each other when the shield is in the retracted position to selectively retain the shield in the retracted position.

The built-in leak protection can be achieved through an integral gusset or an internal assembly that is positioned interior to an exterior layer that forms the lower-body garment. The internal assembly can include a front torso portion, a back torso portion, and a crotch portion. The crotch portion can include a spacer fabric layer configured to be positioned adjacent to a wearer's body surface, and a moisture-barrier layer secured to the spacer fabric layer and configured to be face outward.

Abstract: A helmet suspension system featuring angled straps acting as chords between points on a circular strap barrier or helmet shell, avoiding a central node to enable immediate response to lateral impacts. The system includes a fixed, non-adjustable net integrated with the circular strap barrier for stable head retention without manual adjustment. Straps with distinct tensile strengths, optionally combined with elastomeric components, enhance energy absorption and force distribution across the helmet shell. Abstract: A hospital-type gown or surgical gown, featuring a new sleeve end or cuff design and method of manufacture. The garment includes a main body and sleeves, with the distal end of each sleeve or cuff is constructed to provide optional superior protection and retention within a glove. The novel cuff or sleeve end design provides for perforations within an intact cuff that may allow the passage of a finger, and yet that integrity of wrist and glove junction has not been compromised when not used, and when used provides superior anchor to the wearer's thumb, and pinkie and or finger(s), inside the glove, offering improved protection and/or padding for the hand and wrist.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a swim cap with a wall that can include a surface with a higher coefficient of friction (e.g., higher than conventional swim caps and/or higher than other surfaces of the swim cap). The surface finish can be positioned at various locations of an inner face of the swim cap, and in some examples, the surface finish is positioned near the edge of the swim cap (e.g., the terminal edge forming a perimeter around the head opening of the swim cap). In some examples, the band extending around the edge can be associated with a thicker wall of material, which can increase the modulus of elasticity and a tightness of the fit of the swim cap. The swim cap can include various materials, and in some examples, the swim cap comprises silicone.

Abstract: A fighting glove includes a first padding section and a second padding section disposed in a dorsal side of a user's hand, and a strapping section configured to secure the glove to the user's hand. The first padding section includes multiple impact absorption layers, multiple slip layers, and a contour layer, which are each partially bonded to each other. In particular, the hand regions of the layers are securely attached to each other, and the hand body regions of the layers are not attached to each other such that the hand body regions of the layers are free to move independently from each other. Further, the fighting glove includes an exterior layer formed by a single fabric material in each of the inner side and the outer side of the exterior layer to mitigate the glove from forming protrusions or rough features on the exterior layer of the glove.

Abstract: According to examples, an article holder, such as a beverage container holder, may include an outer case composed of a first clamshell section, a second clamshell section connected to the first clamshell section by a movable joint to enable the outer case to be in a closed position or an opened position, and a connecting mechanism to hold the first clamshell section and the second clamshell section together when the outer case is in the closed position. Each of the arms are integrated with the at least one track on one of the first or second side rails. The first end of first and second side rails is secured to the front panel. The second end of each of the first and second side rails forms a cable return channel. Selective lengthening and shortening of first and second loops of cable integrated with a dial system, each loop of the cable being fed through a respective one of the cable return channels at the second end of the first side rail and the second side rail, permits the helmet liner to loosen or causes the helmet liner to tighten, respectively.
