Abstract: A system of head protection with an integrated air filtration mechanism for protecting the user from impact/concussion and ambient air pollution. Example embodiments comprise a rigid helmet shell covering the head of the user and a fabric air barrier around the user's neck, a battery powered filtered centrifugal fan contained inside an external detachable cowl apparatus adjoins to a helmet external top spoiler with a mounting system that is easily removable to meet impact attenuation standards The cowl apparatus directs clean filtered air into the duct system—a top spoiler funnel connected to an internal clean air duct and exits the visor air curtain providing continual clean laminar airflow between the user's face and the face shield. One or more sensors, calibrated to detect harmful particulates and a processor to automatically activate the system as a protective measure when harmful particulates are encountered and a sensor to detect when filter element needs replacement.

Abstract: A helmet is provided, which includes a helmet shell and a fastening assembly. The fastening assembly has a mounting fixture releasably connected to the helmet shell and a release mechanism operatively connectable to the mounting fixture, where connection of the release mechanism to the mounting fixture secures the mounting fixture to the helmet shell, and disconnection of the release mechanism from the mounting fixture enables disconnection of the mounting fixture from the helmet shell.

Abstract: A system for pressurizing and dispensing a food product can include a pouch for storing the food product, a dispensing valve coupled to the pouch, and a canister for holding the pouch. The pouch can include a valve fitment for attachment to the dispensing valve. The dispensing valve can include a first valve body portion moveably coupled to a second valve body portion. The first valve body portion can include a piston coupled to a nozzle portion. The dispensing valve can be manually manipulated between an open position and a closed position by axially translating the piston within the second valve body portion. The nozzle portion may be used to both charge the pouch with pressurized gas and dispense the food product.

Abstract: A padding material for protective equipment is provided. The padding material is formed from a single, integral piece of material with a cellular structure. The size and/or shape of the cellular structure is non-uniform to provide support and reduce pressure in chosen areas. One embodiment of the protective equipment includes knee pad with a shell, padding disposed in front of the knee of the wearer, the padding including a non-uniform stiffness.

Abstract: A cycling helmet includes an outer shell and a closed cell foam layer adjacent to the outer shell. The cycling helmet also includes an inner liner adjacent to the closed cell foam layer. The cycling helmet further includes an insert of energy absorbing material adjacent to the inner liner. The insert is configured to move in multiple directions in response to an impact to the cycling helmet.

Abstract: The present invention is a helmet system that reduces concussions by damping rotational force transmitted to a helmet user. The helmet has an helmet shell that moves independently from an internal body worn by the user. At least one magnetic force emitter on the helmet shell's interior directs at least one interior-facing magnetic flux axially at the internal body. At least one magnetic force emitter attached to the internal body directs at least one exterior-facing magnetic flux at the at least one interior-facing magnetic flux. In a resting state magnetic flux interactions are limited. When a tangential impact rotates the exterior shell, the at least one interior-facing magnetic flux approaches to the side of the at least one exterior-facing magnetic flux, inducing negative torque of the internal body in a variety of ways. Rotational momentum is diffused in a variety of ways. The exterior shell is returned to the resting state in a variety of ways.

Abstract: The invention relates to the technical field of belts, disclosing a rapidly detachable belt with a nylon-coated steel sheet structure, comprising front buckle plate, belt body, rear buckle plate. One end of front buckle plate has mounting slot. Its side has retention holes communicating with the slot, each equipped with a threaded screw. Specifically, two retention holes are equidistantly provided at one end, each threaded with a screw. Rotating the screw adjusts its depth into the slot. The mounting slot is slidably coupled to one end of belt body. The screw end abuts the belt body side. The belt body's width and thickness correspond to the slot dimensions. Through the front and rear buckle plate design, magnetic blocks provide mutual adsorption. This combines with the interlocking engagement between a retention knob's limiting notch and a limiting tab within a retention sliding slot. Sliding the two plates together enables rapid detachment.

A dose of the material is applied to the blade from a source to be released from the spreading edge for spreading between the spreading surface and the skin. Dimples on the spreading surface hold it away from the skin. The spreading blade portion is generally fan shaped with side edges extending outwardly from an inner edge to an arcuate outer edge at the spreading edge A vibration motor located behind the spreading surface for vibrating the spreading surface and the spreading edge thereon is provided to assist in spreading the material.
