  • Patent number: 11513881
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting a multimedia communication problem. In one aspect, this is implemented by an execution entity, in a processing phase. A message(s) is received that belongs to at least one stream to be monitored relating to at least one media stream. A correspondence between the received message(s) and rule(s) associated with a stream(s) to be monitored is verified. If verified an error detection massage is sent to a checking entity separate from the execution entity, via a rule management entity.

  • Patent number: 11502762
Abstract: The present invention relates to a signal processing apparatus and an image display apparatus including the same. The signal processing apparatus for processing a baseband signal demodulated from an RF signal, includes: a synchronizer; a channel estimator; an equalizer; an error corrector to perform error correction based on a signal output from the equalizer; and a mean square error calculator to calculate a mean square error based on a difference between an input signal from the equalizer and a reference signal, wherein when the RF signal includes a co-channel interference signal, the error corrector performs error correction by using a mean square error in a time domain or mean square errors in a time domain and a spatial domain. Accordingly, a baseband signal, from which a defect is removed, may be obtained in response to various communication channels or broadcast channels.

  • Patent number: 11489814
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for customized domain name resolution for virtual private clouds are disclosed. A domain name system (DNS) resolution service receives a DNS request from a computing resource associated with a virtual private cloud (VPC) in a cloud provider network. The service determines that the VPC is associated with one or more firewall rules. Responsive to determining that the VPC is associated with the firewall rule(s), the service determines whether the DNS request is allowed or blocked according to the one or more firewall rules. If the DNS request is allowed, the service resolves the DNS request using a DNS server and returns a response to the computing resource. If the DNS request is blocked, the service does not resolve the DNS request.

  • Patent number: 11418468
Abstract: A computing device, method and computer program product are provided to automatically reverse an action indicated by an electronic message. In relation to a method, an electronic message is parsed to separately identify a plurality of fields of the electronic message providing different types of information. The method constructs a response to the electronic message that reverses the action indicated by the electronic message and transmits the response to the electronic message to a request processor that provided the electronic message. The method constructs an alternative message that provides an alternative action to the action indicated by the electronic message and transmits the alternative message to a source. In response to the alternative message, the method receives a subsequent request from the source. If the alternative action is to be taken, the method processes the subsequent request in a different manner than the request that generated the electronic message.

  • Patent number: 11398954
Abstract: Embodiments include devices and methods for managing network communication of an unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV). A processor of the UAV may determine an altitude of the UAV. The processor may optionally also determine a speed or vector of the UAV. Based on the determined altitude and/or speed/vector of the UAV, the processor may adjust the communication parameter of the communication link between the UAV and a communication network. The processor may transmit signals based on the adjusted communication parameter, which may reduce radio frequency interference caused by the transmissions of the UAV with the communication network.

  • Patent number: 11398953
Abstract: Network management of cloud computing environments subject to different data control policies is standardized in a manner that ensures compliance with the data control policies. An execution service remote from a cloud computing environment being managed implements workflows to manage different aspects of the cloud computing environment, including monitoring, incident management, deployment, and/or buildout. The execution service issues requests to perform management actions for network devices in the cloud computing environment. A device access service in the cloud computing environments receives the requests, and, in response to the requests, the device access service obtains access control data to access the network devices and perform the requested management actions for the network devices.

  • Patent number: 11394767
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for configuring a distributed computer system comprising a plurality of nodes of a plurality of node classes, configuration files for a plurality of nodes of each of the plurality of node classes are stored in a central repository. The configuration files include information representing a desired system state of the distributed computer system, and the distributed computer system operates to keep an actual system state of the distributed computer system consistent with the desired system state. The plurality of node classes includes forwarder nodes for receiving data from an input source, indexer nodes for indexing the data, and search head nodes for searching the data. Responsive to receiving changes to the configuration files, the changes are propagated to nodes of the plurality of nodes impacted by the changes based on a node class of the nodes impacted by the changes.
