The IC includes such NCEM-enabled fill cells configured to enable detection and/or measurement of a variety of open-circuit and short-circuit failure modes, including at least one via-open-related failure mode, one AACNT-short-related failure mode, one GATECNT-short-related failure mode, and one TS-short-related failure mode.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to the communication field and disclosures an inquiry method, an inquiry system, an inquiry search server and an inquiry terminal. The method includes: a mobile terminal setting a calculation formula for contact weights of contact persons according to communication information parameters, and configuring a plurality of contact weight ranges and corresponding display modes thereof; the mobile terminal storing the communication information of each contact person; reading the communication information at regular intervals, and calculating the contact weight of each contact person according to the calculation formula; and looking for a display mode corresponding to the contact weight range to which the calculated contact weight belongs, and displaying the corresponding contact person according to the corresponding display mode.

Abstract: Source data statements that had been received for the request are semantically analyzed, which includes matching elements in the received source data statements to respective one or more entries in an ontology associated with a domain that had been selected for the received source data statements. The ontology includes items and relationships that define the selected domain. Each element in the received source data statements is a word or a phrase. The one or more entries are assigned to the matched elements, respectively, to annotate each matched element with a respective annotation consisting of the respective one or more entries. The annotated elements are saved with the respective annotations. The annotations are used to generate a search query for the request.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for two-directional biometric matching. The mechanism receives a first biometric record and a second biometric record for matching. The mechanism performs a first matching process using a matching algorithm of the first record to the second record to obtain a first matching outcome. The mechanism performs a second matching process using the same matching algorithm of the first matching process, wherein the second record is matched to the first record to obtain a second matching outcome. The mechanism compares the first and second matching outcomes to determine if there is a difference in outcome.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a system for managing data within a plurality of data management architectures includes at least one processor. The system persists an entity managed by a first data management architecture to a second data management architecture. The first data management architecture manages entity data within data sources and the second data management architecture manages persisted entities within a common repository. Entity attributes are mapped between the first and second data management architectures. The system further provides one or more supplemental attributes for the persisted (e.g., registration mode or fully persisted mode) entity within the second data management architecture, wherein the supplemental attributes are unmapped between the first and second data management architectures.

Abstract: A virtualization method for large-scale distributed heterogeneous data includes using a three-layer structure and a two-level mapping. According to different abstraction degrees, a data model is defined as three layers from low to high: a physical layer, a virtual table layer, and a virtual view layer. Each layer has a proprietary data model. The two-level mapping comprises a PV mapping and a VV mapping, which is a transformation mechanism of the data models of different layers. As a result, the virtualization method virtualizes decentralized heterogeneous data, and is applicable to data interoperability treatments.

Abstract: A database server receives a query from a remote application server that is associated with a calculation scenario. The calculation scenario defines a data flow model that includes one or more calculation nodes that each define one or more operations to execute on the database server. The database server can be a column-oriented database and at least one of the calculation nodes comprises at least one join operation. Thereafter, the database server instantiates the calculation scenario so that it is optimized by removing one or more join operations and associated branches within the calculation scenario. The database server then executes the operations defined by the calculation nodes of the optimized calculation scenario to result in a responsive data set. The database server then provides the data set to the application server.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method to coordinate output of an application over a single computing device, according to one embodiment, includes receiving a feed of importance scores for each of the plurality of applications, and normalizing the importance scores of each feed for each of the plurality of applications. At least some applications with feeds of importance scores are selected. A prioritization score is assigned to the selected applications based on a function of the normalized importance scores of the selected applications. The normalized importance scores of the selected applications are combined into a single feed, and the single feed of normalized importance scores of selected applications is provided in order of priority to a subscribing application. An output of the subscribing application is coordinated based on the normalized importance scores of selected applications with a high priority in the single feed.

Abstract: Techniques for computer system recovery which remotely restore a default partition to a recent state even when an operating system is functioning abnormally. In an example embodiment, a service center computer establishes a first network connection to a monitored computer system. The service center computer configures the monitored computer system to boot from a bootable image file in the monitored computer system and reboots the monitored computer system into an alternate operating system environment of the bootable image file. The service center computer establishes a second network connection to the monitored computer system to restore a recent backup image of the default partition from a diagnostic partition to a default partition. The service center computer establishes a third network connection to the monitored computer system and reboots the monitored computer system to the default partition.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media for identifying a geometric footprint of a point of interest (POI) based on location sharing events received from mobile devices are provided. The geometric footprint may be calculated based on the received location sharing events and stored in the POI listing for that POI. In one aspect, the geometric footprint may be further refined based on subsequently received location sharing events. The system, according to certain aspects, may include an interface module, a POI module, and a footprint module. The interface module may be configured to receive a location sharing event from a mobile device, the location sharing event including an event location coordinate and a POI identifier. The POI module may be configured to identify the POI listing in the database based on the POI identifier, the POI listing including a POI location coordinate.
