Abstract: A method for automatically extracting data from a chart includes generating and displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) enabling a user to select a screen area covering one or more screens at least partially, the screen area displaying a chart; in response to determining that the user has selected the screen area, automatically taking a screenshot of the selected screen area and automatically performing an image analysis of the screenshot for extracting data from the chart contained in the screenshot; in response to determining that the image analysis of the screenshot has completed successfully, automatically displaying or enabling a selectable GUI element; and in response to a select action of the user having selected said selectable GUI element, outputting the extracted data.

Abstract: A method, executed by a computer, for file-centric form selection includes receiving a selection of files from a user, determining a relevance value for each form, and presenting the forms to a user in order of relevance value. Once a particular form is selected, a reference to each file may be automatically placed into the form's appropriate input fields. A user may also input non-file information into the form. In certain embodiments, the relevance value is determined by a history of use of the form by the user or by other users. In some embodiments, the relevance value is determined according to the percentage of the form's input fields completed by using the files as input. A computer program product and computer system corresponding to the method are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A mobile terminal for executing applications and a method of controlling the same are provided. The mobile terminal includes a display unit changing a first object to a floating state where the first object is separated from an execution screen for a first application, based on a predetermined user input being applied to the first object for executing a first control operation which is being displayed on the execution screen for the first application, and displaying the first object on an execution screen for a second application which is executed after the first application ends, and a control unit executing a control operation associated with the first control operation, based on the predetermined user input being applied to the first object which is being displayed on the execution screen for the second application.

Abstract: A method for relocating an input box to a target position in a mobile terminal browser comprises: when a user clicks an input box in a browsed web page and an input method interface pops up, calculating a position of the input box relative to the input method interface and determining whether the input box is partially or completely covered by the input method interface; designating a target position of the input box according to a position of the input method interface, when the input box is partially or completely covered by the input method interface; and rendering the input box at the target position by scrolling the browsed web page and/or canvas. By the invention, when a user clicks an input box and an input method interface pops up, the input box can be relocated and displayed at a reasonable position and be completely visible to the user.

Abstract: Embodiments presented herein provide an editing tool for domain-specific machine-readable objects. The editing tool identifies a domain-specific machine-readable object selected for editing. The object corresponds to a page included in a sequence of pages and is configured to adjust content for the page based on variables. One or more previous pages in the sequence are configured to solicit input to define the variables. The editing tool also identifies a scenario selected for previewing the page. The scenario includes values for the variables. Assets of the object reference the variables in expressions or other logic. The editing tool renders the object based on the scenario.

Abstract: Method for displaying a message summary by analyzing the message to identify a sending institution and a message type. A message cluster is determined from the sending institution and repository of messages for multiple users. Extracted items can be identified in the message using the message type. Then the message summary can be generated using the extracted items, the message cluster, and the message structure. These summaries can be used to efficiently summarize a large volume of messages compactly.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for creating and providing narratives associated with a type of subject (e.g., person, movie, place, etc.). Following a detected change in the system, a narrative template is selected based on a variety of factors. The template may provide variations of sentences based on the amount of data provided. Following the selection of the optimal narrative, fields in the selected template are filled with stored data associated with the subject. Some of the stored data may need to be translated prior to adding to the template depending on whether the selected narrative template is in a different language. The new or updated narrative may be stored in a memory. The system may encode a network page with the narrative and send the encoded network page to a client device.
