Abstract: User authentication is provided. A social network associated with a user of a client device is monitored to determine whether a set of designated users are currently logged in and authenticated to access a secure resource. A video connection is established between the user of the client device and the set of designated users that are currently logged in and authenticated to access the secure resource. In addition, an authentication request screen is sent showing captured video authentication data corresponding to the user of the client device to the set of designated users that are currently logged in and authenticated to access the secure resource.

Abstract: By way of example, a system, method, and computer program product are provided for identifying vulnerabilities associated with data loaded in memory. In operation, a subset of data that is loaded in memory is identified, including for example by name and version number. The subset of data is compared to a known minimal version known to be good. Furthermore, there is a reaction based on the comparison, such as reporting a vulnerability.

Abstract: An improved system and method for providing Internet access services to guests of a hotel chain. A web services (WS) framework is used for communications between a central authentication server (CAS) and property management system (PMS) of a hotel within a chain. Authentication of a user to a high speed Internet network is accomplished using the WS framework to facilitate communication between the CAS and PMS. A gateway device for authentication is bypassed and transactions are posted by implementing a WS interface between a CAS and PMS at each hotel. Additional transactions may be incorporated within the WS interface thereby increasing the system and method's ability to deliver significant improvements in customer service to the hotel guest. Reduced dependence upon a gateway device to facilitate communications allows a hotel to implement a high speed Internet access program with a degree of independence from one particular vendor.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus of reference notification comprises obtaining an instant message that is sent from a sending user. A contact is selected that satisfies a predetermined criterion from contacts of the sending user. For the selected contact, content is determined that is of interest to the selected contact, and content is found that is of interest and is included in the obtained instant message based on the determined content of interest. Based on the found content of interest, a reference notification message is sent to a contact corresponding to the found content of interest, for notifying the contact that the content of interest is referenced. By using the technical scheme of the present disclosure, the problems of existing technologies that a user cannot accurately and quickly determine whether an instant message references content with which he/she is concerned are solved.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling access via a computer network to a subscriber server. A log-in server receives a query to connect through the computer network to the subscriber server, and the log-in server receives registrant identification data, A first session is established between the log-in server and the subscriber server to validate the registrant identification data, and to generate a session password. A second session is established between the log-in server and the subscriber server. The second session is configured to authorize, based in part on the registrant identification data, access to at least a portion of a website associated with the subscriber server.

Moreover, the TPM can outsource most of the computation involved in generating a signature to a host computer.

A service management component manages subscriber and service plan information for processing service plan modification requests from a service provider and a mobile device of a subscriber. The service management component processes updated service plan information provided by a service provider component and dynamically offers the updated services to subscribers. The service management component also enables subscribers to modify aspects of their service plans and have the modifications take effect immediately. The service management component maintains various data stores associated with subscriber information and service plan information that facilitate the offer of updated service plans, including service plan features and rule sets, received from a service provider component to subscribers at corresponding mobile devices.

The web content server is configured to respond to requests from the web browser for a web page and to deliver the web page to the web browser. The Internet advertisement server is configured to choose and deliver an Internet advertisement panel, having embedded XML syndication content, to the web browser. The XML syndication content feed site server is in communications with the Internet advertisement server and is configured to send XML syndication content updates to the Internet advertisement server.
