  • Patent number: 7251968
Abstract: A steering lock that is easy to assemble includes an ECU case having a first terminal. The first terminal has an end for directly contacting an input terminal of a motor. A component for connecting the first terminal of the ECU case and the input terminal of the motor is not necessary. The other end of the first terminal is directly connected to an electric circuit of a steering lock ECU. This eliminates the need for an additional component connecting the first terminal and the steering lock ECU.

  • Patent number: 7246830
Abstract: A seal has a head and a strap, the head having a chamber with an aperture through which the end of the strap can be fed. An arrangement is provided within the chamber to engage the strap so that it cannot be pulled out in the opposite direction to which is inserted. This arrangement includes resilient clip having arms which can flex and overlapping apertured members at the ends of the arms which are configured to provide a variable gap as the strap is pulled through. This clip is mounted in an insert which in turn is fitted in the chamber of the seal.

  • Patent number: 7213427
Abstract: The present invention is to provide an actuating means 10 of the steering wheel lock 20. It must be open by a chip contained key 7. The actuating means 10 includes a framework 1, an actuator 2, a brake member 3, a driving member 4, and a printed circuit board (PCB) controller 5. Said PCB controller 5 has a five pin header connector 51 for connecting a crimp jack 73 of the chip contained key 7 to activate the driving member 4 and the brake member 3. The brake member 3 can alternate the status of the driving member 4 to close or open the lock. The actuating means 10 further can be open by the key 7 equipped with a self-contained battery 71 to furnish a power to the actuating means 10.

  • Patent number: 7188874
Abstract: An activating assembly for a screen door includes an assembly seat securable to the screen door and having a lever movably received in the assembly seat and a first recovery spring a to push the lever back to its original position, a driving rod in connection to the lever such that movement of the lever is able to force the driving rod to cause reaction of a lock device, a base seat securable to the screen door and having a second recovery spring compressibly received inside the base seat and a handle movable relative to the assembly seat and the base seat. The handle has a triangular end abutting the lever such that the movement of the handle is able to force the lever to pivot by the triangular end of the handle and the lock device is activated by movement of the driving rod.

  • Patent number: 7181940
Abstract: A door lock transmission mechanism is provided on the first surface of a door for transmitting movement to a door lock provided on the second surface of the door opposite to the first surface. The door lock transmission mechanism includes a lock casing unit, an actuation mechanism, and a locking mechanism. The actuation mechanism includes a traction member having a traction portion for driving a locking seat of a core unit of the locking mechanism, wherein the locking seat can rotate freely when the locking mechanism is locked, such that an actuation member of the actuation mechanism can be pressed down by force and keeps the locking state of the door lock, and thus the parts of the door lock transmission mechanism can be protected from being damaged.

  • Patent number: 7178840
Abstract: A dome clamp for retaining the dome lid of a tanker truck in a closed position. The dome clamp includes an upper tube, right and left clamp members, and a vertically adjustable locking means adapted to be movable from an unextended position out of contact with a dome lid to an extended position in contact with a dome lid. Each of the right and left clamp members have downwardly extending legs having claw members extending inwardly from a lower portion thereof, and arms extending inwardly from an upper portion thereof. The arms are positioned within the upper tube, and are attached to spring means for urging the right and left arms towards each other in an unloaded condition. The spring means allows the right and/or left arms to be moved away from each other in a loaded condition.
