  • Patent number: 12372106
Abstract: Clamp systems include multiple, separate clamps joinable to components subject to relative rotation. Clamps may have similarly-positioned features to simplify installation and/or removal about a small area for all clamps in the system. Each clamp cannot freely rotate relative to an adjacent clamp but does not pass vertical loads to an adjacent clamp. Clamps may use mating shapes like an extension and recess to limit rotation. Clamps fit to the perimeters of components to which they individually secure by biasing against the components. At least one clamp has a transitional surface to provide space between the clamp and component to provide containment to a weld or other joining structure. Clamp systems can be tightened by included fasteners. Crimp nuts or other locking structures can preserve the biased and secured nature of the clamps and underlying structures. Clamp systems may be used to secure or repair a lifting rod assembly.

  • Patent number: 12370651
Abstract: The present invention discloses a clamping system and an adaptive clamping method for turning of thin-walled curved components. A curved component is positioned and clamped on the upper surface of the vacuum adsorption fixture, and a rubber sealing ring on an auxiliary support of the fixture is in contact with the inner contour of the curved surface to separate the closed space in the component into three independent adsorption force action areas: a flange end surface, a first vacuum chamber and a second vacuum chamber; and three independent vacuum channels are arranged in the fixture, the vacuum channels are communicated with sub-circuits through pneumatic hoses, and the on-off of the circuits is controlled by electromagnetic directional valves. The vacuum adsorption clamping system with multiple clamping modes can be adaptively adjusted according to the process stage of curved components.

  • Patent number: 12343785
Abstract: A power tool has a body, a trigger, a motor, a shaft set, a ball screw, and a pre-fastening module. The pre-fastening module has a first pre-fastening detecting member and a second pre-fastening detecting member. The first pre-fastening detecting member is moved with a connecting shaft of the shaft set in an axial direction. The second pre-fastening detecting member is located on a moving path of the ball screw. When a threaded spindle of the shaft set is inserted in a rivet nut and the connecting shaft is pressed to move inward the body, the first pre-fastening detecting member is moved to align with the second pre-fastening detecting member, and the motor is started automatically to drive the threaded spindle to rotate relative to the rivet nut. The motor will be stopped automatically after the rivet nut is pre-fastened on the threaded spindle, and this is convenient in use.

  • Patent number: 12275105
Abstract: A method and apparatus for maintaining integrally bladed rotors (IBR) includes using first vibration data from a IBR vibration apparatus of a first IBR to determine a set of values for a corresponding set of inherent vibratory properties based on a reduced order model for an IBR type to which the first IBR belongs. Shape data indicating an initial shape of a surface of a first blade is used, with repair data that indicates a candidate repair to form a restored shape, to determine a change in a value of an inherent blade section vibratory property of the set of inherent vibratory properties. A condition of the first IBR is determined based at least in part on the change in the value of the inherent blade section vibratory property. The first IBR is maintained based on the condition.

  • Patent number: 12263520
Abstract: An apparatus and method for securing a rivet to a plate having a frontside and opposed backside with tight clearance. A ductile rivet is inserted through a hole in the plate. The apparatus has a driver with a cone which intercepts a hollow, internally threaded shank of a rivet. An externally threaded fastener is inserted through the diver and threadably engaged with the rivet. The threaded fastener is rotated, compressively drawing the driver into and deforming the rivet circumferentially around the hole. A wrench may be inserted against the backside to hold the hat of the rivet in nonrotatable engagement, thereby enabling the threaded fastener to be axially drawn into the rivet in response to rotation of the threaded fastener relative to the rivet.
