  • Patent number: 12702356
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for forming a wearable ring device are described. A welding process may use ultrasonic welding to attach an outer lateral surface cover to the inner lateral surface cover, which may form an arcuate frame for the wearable ring device. The welding process may involve ultrasonic welding, which may melt one or more welding features (e.g., welding ribs) to attach the outer lateral surface cover to the inner lateral surface cover. In some examples, the welding features may be located on the outer lateral surface cover, the inner lateral surface cover, or both. To reduce negative effects on fragile components, such as a PCB of the wearable ring device, the fragile components may be disposed in a location away from the welding features. Further, in some cases, a material may be used to cover and shield the fragile components from ultrasonic waves during the welding procedure.

  • Patent number: 12608056
Abstract: A method of mounting a heat dissipation device to a bare die heat source using fixing elements is disclosed. The fixing elements respectively include a screw, which has a spring fitted thereon and is disposed in a sleeve. Limiting units are provided on the sleeve for holding the spring in the sleeve in a compressed state. To mount the heat dissipation device to the bare die heat source, first use the fixing elements to preliminarily screw the heat dissipation device to a top of the heat source. Then, the springs compressed in the sleeves of all the fixing elements are elastically released synchronously to apply evenly distributed downward forces that push the heat dissipation device toward the bare die heat source stably.

  • Patent number: 12589483
Abstract: A modular, multi-functional, and reusable three-dimensional (“3D”) mounting surface for use in robotic automation to facilitate changing from one robot type to another (e.g., COTS (commercial off the shelf) robot or component) is described. A change involves removing only the surface plates without the entire mounting base plate for each product, which make the manufacture process less costly and faster to deploy. The modular design of the present invention enables a flexible mounting base plate configured to incorporate different types of robot sizes, robot cabinets, and applications. This invention is not only expandable on the three-dimensional (“3D”) tessellated surface for larger robot applications, the 3D surfaces may be combined together to form even larger robot solutions for factory automation. The present invention is reconfigurable with inserts that fit precisely in the mounting base plate.
