Abstract: A pressure injecting caulking construction technique for gaps between building door/window hole (4) and common additional frame or side frame (1), which involves steps as follows. Firstly, positioning the common additional frame or side frame (1) of the building door/window in the hole (4). Secondly, the technique includes injecting insulating materials (7) in the middle of the gap (3) between the frame and hole, or installing occulting bars (2) at outer side of the additional framework or side framework, or installing combined frameworks (9) on the sides of the common additional frame or side frame and the wall of the hole. Lastly, the technique includes pressure injecting filling materials into the gap (3).
Abstract: Mounting systems for attaching metal suspended ceiling panels to form a decorative rectangular array. In one system the panels are mounted on bolt slot grid runners spaced from the wall and trimmed with island ceiling trim. In another system, panels are mounted on unique backer boards that protect the panels against physical damage by resisting compressive forces on the face of the panels.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and components for the construction and disassembly of raised panel assemblies. These systems, methods, and components may include a flow-limiting structure that is configured to define at least one boundary of a channel that includes at least a portion of a gap between adjacent raised panels and is configured to receive a sealant material. The flow-limiting structure may limit a flow of the sealant material therepast, thereby decreasing an overall volume of sealant material needed for construction of the raised panel assembly and/or limiting undesired adhesion of the raised panels to other structures. These systems, methods, and components also may include an elongate disassembly aid that is configured to sever at least a portion of the sealant material from between adjacent raised panels upon removal from the raised panel assembly, such as to decrease a time needed for disassembly and/or repair of the raised panel assembly.

Abstract: An example of the disclosed seating system includes a plurality of seating risers configured to telescope relative to one another. A roller guide assembly guides movement of the risers, and a lock assembly locks a lower level riser relative to a higher level riser when in a deployed position.
Abstract: An environmentally friendly fiberglass utility pole that comes in three sections that are telescoped one around the other to provide a strong, wind and bending resistant structure. Each of the three sections has alternating protruding and intruding surfaces that are slip fit together to provide maximum strength while conserving material. Additionally, each of the three sections preferably are different lengths such that maximum reinforcement is provided along the center of the length of the pole, without requiring excessive material (or weight) at the top end of the pole.
Abstract: Seismic base isolation and energy dissipation device using a plurality of swing plate's that are placed on a central wall. This arrangement creates a strong load bearing swing beam that moves in true pendulum fashion. This system is placed between the structural load and its foundation. This seismic wave base isolation system has the purpose of absorbing seismic wave displacement energy in all directions. This unique design can scale up for very large and heavy loads or scale down to protect sensitive cargo and equipment from destructive motion. The swing plates inside the swing beam will provide support and absorption of motion by moving as a pendulum and therefore redirecting and dissipating seismic energy. This system has a simple design shape and is therefore inexpensive to construct, is easy to engineer and deploy, it requires no uncommon material and requires very little maintenance or advanced electronics.

Abstract: The Dual Tension Connector (DTC) is a metal connector used for tying a wood or steel railing stanchion to a structural framing member. The DTC is designed to resist force applied to a railing stanchion in any direction. It is a one-piece solution for railing stanchion connections that requires no welding or separate washers. The DTC consists of a rectangular shaped section that can be attached to a structural framing member, and two elongated strap members located on each side of the rectangular shaped section. Each elongated strap has two seat members, and two triangular-shaped side members with seat members that are integrally connected. The seat members are located in such a manner so they may be folded, and locked together to act as one unit in resisting tension forces applied to the DTC.
Abstract: A window jamb channel attachment apparatus. The apparatus can include a channel clip, the channel clip including a first foot, a second foot, a first leg, a second leg, and a joining portion, the first foot and the second foot adapted to couple to a window jamb channel, the first leg having a first end coupled to the first foot and a second end coupled to the joining portion, the second leg having a first end coupled to the second foot and a second end coupled to the joining portion, the joining portion including an aperture defined therein. The apparatus can further include an object holder removably coupled to the channel clip, the object holder including a body, a fastener portion sized and shaped to be received in the aperture of the channel clip, and an object support portion.
