Abstract: The present invention relates to a pump, more particularly a radial piston pump, including at least two pump pistons (10) with an associated working chamber (13) each, wherein the working chambers (13) are connected to suction lines (4) by way of suction valve devices (8) and to a joint pressure line (5) by way of pressure valve devices (9), wherein at least one of the suction valve devices (8) opens during the pressure stroke in dependence on the pressure in one of the associated lines (4, 5), and wherein at least one of the suction valve devices (8) opens during the pressure stroke in dependence on the pressure in the pressure line (5).
Abstract: A hydraulic axial pump/motor comprises a plurality of revolving as well as reciprocating pistons, operatively associated with a stationary port plate. The port plate comprises at least a first, elongated, arcuate suction port and at least a second elongated, arcuate discharge port, divided by a bringing portion extending between the downstream side of the suction port and the upstream side of the discharge port. A tortuous passage of a non-uniform cross-section is formed in the bridging portion, allowing the by-passing of the fluid first in a direction towards the downstream side of the suction port and then towards and into the upstream side of the discharge port.
Abstract: There is disclosed an arrangement for mounting a heating coil relative to a supporting wall of a clothes dryer heater housing. An insulator has a main body portion adapted to secure the heating coil relative thereto and a base portion adapted to be seated in fixed relation to the supporting wall. The base portion has first and second flanges which curve downwardly and outwardly from the insulator. The support wall has two raised tab members which are adapted to define between these tab members and the supporting wall a recessed channel for receiving the first flange of the insulator. The supporting wall further has two spaced apart guide members for engagement with opposite sides of the second flange of the base member to prevent relative lateral movement of the insulator. The supporting wall has a pivotably movable locking flange which is pivotable about a crease located between the two guide members.
Abstract: A system of interconnected heating conductors, suitable for preventing freezing of water lines in an aircraft for example, includes a plurality of heater units (1, 12, 14) electrically coupled together by respective extension cables (3) and electrical coupling elements (42). Each heater unit comprises one or more heating conductor bands, tapes or strips (2, 21, 22) connected to respective connection modules (5, 51, 52, 52', 53) at the ends thereof. The connection modules may connect together several heater bands within one heater unit, and may connect the terminal ends of the heater bands of one heater unit to the extension cables by which several respective heater units may be connected together. Each connection module includes a housing (6) enclosing an inner chamber (61) therein, and at least one electrical connector element (7) such as a crimpable connector fixed within the housing (6).
