Abstract: A liquid chemical proportion and application rate controller for agricultural injection type sprayers is connected to a microprocessor and to one or more pumps. Depending upon the chemical being used, a control key is inserted into a monitor which controls the output of the microprocessor to the pump or pumps and automatically controls the rate of application, the dilution proportions, indicates and adapts the output for Metric, Imperial instructions or in combination of both (i.e. liters per acre). Such a key may be provided with the container of chemical and discarded when the spraying is completed.

Abstract: The nozzle of a fuel injector is constructed to have a seat member and a single thin disc orifice member. A guide member affixed to the seat member guides the injector needle toward the seat in the seat member as the needle is reciprocated within the injector by pulsing the injector solenoid. Fuel is conveyed past the guide member by holes that are spaced radially outwardly from the central hole which guides the needle and that are skewed to the injector axis. As fuel passes through these skewed holes, it acquires angular momentum. The effect of this angular momentum is to increase the divergence of the column of fuel that is emitted by the single thin disc orifice member.
Abstract: An article of jewelry for dispensing perfume consisting of a pair of hollow tubes one of which is provided with a sealed capsule of perfume and the other tube containing venting openings and a needle to penetrate the capsule when the two tubes are assembled and the needle is pushed far enough to make the penetration. The degree of penetration may be adjusted and vapor generation can be maximized by rotating the tube with the needle with respect to the capsule.
