Abstract: An electronic candle with a highly simulated flame effect, including a housing having a top wall and a cylindrical peripheral wall, where the top wall has a through hole in the center; a flame head, passing upward through the through hole and including a candle flame-like luminous body and a simulated cotton core column, where the luminous body including an LED lamp bead and a light guide cup at the bottom, the LED lamp bead and the light guide cup are each a misty colloid component, a transmittance of the LED lamp bead is higher than a transmittance of the light guide cup, a first light-emitting chip and a second light-emitting chip that separately change in light and dark are provided in the LED lamp bead vertically, the first light-emitting chip located above emits warm white light upward, and the second light-emitting chip located below emits blue light downward.

Abstract: A night vision system along with an image intensifier tube and method for forming the tube are provided. The night vision system incorporates the image intensifier tube in both an analog channel as well as a digital channel, with an addressable display within the analog image intensifier tube analog channel configured to create an electronically addressable output. An analog image intensifier tube is included in the digital imager for presenting binary digital signals representative of an image, or of symbol indicia, and registering those digital representation from the digital imager onto one or more electron multipliers of the analog image intensifier tube within the analog channel. The provided night vision system also utilizes a cathodoluminescent screen, which is a highly efficient light source that reduces system power.

Abstract: A resource-based authorization control may be added to a data processing service. A control-plane action requested by an account or entity creates a resource-based authorization policy. The resource-based authorization policy pertaining to respective resources allows recurrent data-plane actions to maintain a data flow in a data pipeline to be authorized independent of a separate authorization service.

Abstract: Infusion systems are provided that include an infusion pump and a fluid ingress protection assembly. The fluid ingress protection assembly includes a cover assembly having an outer surface and an inner surface, a perimeter gasket disposed within a raised perimeter on the outer surface of the cover assembly, a lens coupled to the outer surface of the cover assembly, a circuit assembly coupled to the outer surface of the cover assembly, a switch assembly coupled to the circuit assembly, a shield assembly coupled to the switch assembly, the shield assembly comprising an electrostatic discharge shield and an overlay assembly coupled with the shield assembly. Methods of assembling an infusion system are also provided.

Abstract: Provided herein are articles of manufacture, systems, and methods employing a gas-deflector plate in low to ultra-high vacuum systems that use differential pumping (e.g., gas-target particle accelerators, mass spectrometers, and windowless delivery ports). In certain embodiments, the gas-deflector plate is configured to be positioned between higher and lower pressure regions in a pressurized system, wherein the gas-deflector plate has a channel therethrough shaped and/or angled such that jetting gas moving through the channel enters the lower pressure region at an angle offset from the vertical axis of the gas-deflector plate and/or the channel. In other embodiments, a jet-deflector component is employed such that the jetting gas strikes such jet-deflector component and is re-directed in another direction.

Abstract: In joining composite ceramic bodies, at least one ceramic body is a compositionally graded with varying concentrations between two or more ceramic materials. The compositionally graded ceramic body terminates at an interfacial layer that is substantially composed of a single ceramic material. The compositionally graded ceramic body is joined to another ceramic body that may also be compositionally graded or made of a single ceramic material, and an interfacial layer of the other ceramic body is identical in composition with the interfacial layer of the compositionally graded ceramic body. In some embodiments, the ceramic bodies may be joined by diffusion bonding. In some embodiments, the ceramic bodies include a ceramic platen and ceramic stem of a wafer pedestal implemented in a plasma processing apparatus.

Among other examples, various configurations and features enable the management of resources (e.g., controlling and orchestrating hardware, acceleration, network, processing resource usage), security (e.g., secure execution and communication, isolation, conflicts), and service management (e.g., orchestration, connectivity, workload coordination), in edge computing deployments, such as by a plurality of edge nodes of an edge computing environment configured for executing workloads from among multiple tenants.

Abstract: A client-side electronic device includes a receiver, a processor, and a memory. The receiver communicates with a message server over a communication medium of a communication network. The memory stores computer-executable instructions, which, when executed by the processor, cause the device to receive, from the message server, a broadcast message, a timestamp associated with the broadcast message, and a first digital signature of the broadcast message and a second digital signature of the timestamp. The executed instruction further cause the device to verify an integrity of the broadcast message based the first or second digital signatures, determine a freshness of the broadcast message based on the received timestamp, calculate a trust state of the broadcast message based on the integrity verification and the freshness determination, and store the broadcast message in the memory along with the calculated trust state.

Abstract: A virtual firewall configured with two interfaces assigned different security zones switches between Layer 3 routing and bump-in-the-wire (BITW) modes between sessions. After receiving a packet from a one-arm load balancer, an inner header is determined based on decapsulation which removes an outer header. A route lookup is performed based on the inner header to determine whether to communicate packets of the session with Layer 3 routing or according to the BITW model. The result of the route lookup indicates an egress interface. If the ingress and egress interfaces are the same, the firewall operates according to the BITW model for the session. If the egress and ingress interfaces are different, the firewall routes packets of the session with Layer 3 routing. Upon detection of subsequent packets, the firewall operates according to the determined mode for the session without performing additional inner header route lookups for operation mode determination.

Abstract: A lamp for a vehicle includes brackets designed to break in response to a force, or load, to the lamp. Based in part on the breaking of the brackets, the lamp may move relative to the vehicle. As a result, when a pedestrian provides the force, the impact by the lamp to the pedestrian is reduced, thus decreasing the likelihood of injury to the pedestrians. A lamp may further include one or more clips that secure to a front end module of the vehicle. In the event of impact to the lamp, the clip(s) promote movement of the lamp relative to the vehicle. A lamp may further include a damper designed to absorb energy from the force to the lamp.

Abstract: An array of non-thermal plasma emitters is controlled to emit plasma based on application of an electric current at desired frequencies and a controlled power level. A power supply for an array controller includes a transformer that operates at the resonant frequency of the combined capacitance of the array and the cable connecting the array to the power supply. The power into the array is monitored by the controller and can be adjusted by the user. The controller monitors reflected power characteristics, such as harmonics of the alternating current, to determine initiation voltage of the plasma and/or resonant frequency plasma emitters. The array of non-thermal plasma emitters may be used in therapeutic, diagnostic, and/or medical sanitization applications, including where a non-thermal plasma treatment regimen is prescribed according to a prescription setting.

Abstract: Implementations of the subject technology provides analyzing a recording of content within a field of view of a device, the analyzing including recognition of a set of objects included in the content. The subject technology identifies a subset of the set of objects that are indicated as corresponding to protected content. The subject technology generates a modified version of the recording that obfuscates or filters the subset of the set of objects. Additionally, the subject technology provides the modified version of the recording to a host application for playback.

Abstract: An Embodiment of the present disclosure provide a display substrate, including a base substrate, and a plurality of first scanning lines, a plurality of second scanning lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of common electrodes and a plurality of pixel electrodes on the base substrate. The second scanning lines are parallel to the data lines, and the second scanning lines, the common electrodes and the pixel electrodes are in different layers. The common electrodes are located on a side of the second scanning lines and the data lines away from the base substrate, and on a side of the pixel electrodes proximal to the base substrate. An orthographic projection of one of the data line and the second scanning line on the base substrate is located in a spacer region between adjacent pixel electrodes.

Abstract: An ownership management system records an article ID, which is unique information for identifying an article, and an owner ID, which is information indicating an owner of the article, on a blockchain in association with each other, and generates a two-dimensional code from a hash value acquired from the blockchain at the time of recording, the article ID, and the owner ID. The ownership management system accepts the two-dimensional code, extracts the hash value, the article ID, and the owner ID from the accepted two-dimensional code acquires the article ID and the owner ID recorded on the blockchain by using the extracted hash value, determines a matching relationship between the article ID and the owner ID extracted from the two-dimensional code, and outputs the extracted article ID and the owner ID when it is determined that the matching is made.

Abstract: Upon an attempt to access a service of a third-party server, full-duplex password-less authentication provides a one-time password to the user displayed at the client device and at a mobile device associated with the user. The user verifies the access by comparing the one-time password displayed at the mobile device and the one-time password displayed at the client device. In some embodiments, the one-time password is displayed as a picture while in other embodiments, a combination of a picture the one-time password is displayed as a picture and a set of alphanumeric characters for ease in making the comparison. The user determines whether to accept or deny the authentication sequence after a simple visual comparison.
