Abstract: System and method embodiments for generating and transmitting a sounding frame in wireless network. In an embodiment, a method for uplink multi-user feedback polling in a wireless network includes generating, by an access point (AP) in the wireless network, a sounding frame including a physical layer (PHY) trigger and a list of stations (STAs) to provide feedback, the PHY trigger indicating that the STAs in the list of STAs are to perform channel estimation; transmitting, by the AP, the sounding frame to one or more STAs; and receiving, by the AP, one or more uplink multi-user feedback frames from the STAs.
Abstract: A core network node (e.g., Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN)), a radio access network node (e.g., Base Station Subsystem), and various methods are described herein for realizing time coordinated cells and maintaining a reliability of paging a wireless device (e.g., Machine Type Communications (MTC) device, mobile station).

Abstract: When a packet in which a “Static part” is changed is detected in a session established in a bearer, it is possible to prevent the packet from being discarded. A radio base station (eNB) according to the present invention includes a communication control unit (13) configured to control communication via a session (an RTP session or an RTCP session) with a mobile station (UE). The communication control unit (13) is configured such that, when a change in a “Static part” in a header of a received packet is detected, even if adding a new session to transmit the packet makes the number of sessions established in a bearer (#1) exceed a capability of the radio base station (eNB) or the mobile station (UE), the communication control unit (13) transmits the packet via the new session.
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method in a wireless device of reconfiguring radio resources comprises: receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message; obtaining a maximum retransmission threshold value and an indication of a backup reconfiguration time; sending a control information message; determining the wireless device has not received a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment (ACK) in response to the control information message; determining a number of control information message transmissions is less than the maximum retransmission threshold value; sending another control information message; determining the wireless device has not received a HARQ ACK in response to the control information message; and performing radio resource reconfiguration at the backup reconfiguration time.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a beam precoding manner reporting method, a scheduling method, and a device. The reporting method includes: determining, by UE, a used beam precoding manner, where the beam precoding manner is used to indicate a first beam combination usage result, and the first beam combination usage result includes usage manners, which are determined by the UE when the UE uses beams in combination, of the beams, where a beam combination usage manner includes one or two or three of beam selection, beam multiplexing, and beam cooperation according to different total quantities of the beams; and sending, by the UE, the beam precoding manner to a base station, so that the base station schedules the UE based on the beam precoding manner. Technical solutions of the present invention can reduce inter-cell interference in an active antenna system during vertical cell splitting, and increase a system throughput.
Abstract: A sounding method utilized for a wireless communication system is disclosed. The sounding method comprises classifying a plurality of stations of the wireless communication system into a plurality of groups, and determining a plurality of initial sounding instants and a plurality of sounding periods corresponding to the plurality of groups; and performing sounding to at least one or all of the plurality of groups in a group by group fashion according to the plurality of initial sounding instants and the plurality of sounding periods.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for a terminal to perform interference measurement in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: receiving a first interference measurement resource setting and a second interference measurement resource setting for one channel state estimation process (Channel State Information Process); and performing interference measurement on an interference measurement resource based on the first interference measurement resource setting and the second interference measurement resource setting, wherein the first interference measurement resource setting is set for an aggregation of first downlink subframes, in which the use of a wireless resource is set not to be changed by a repurposing message, and the second interference measurement resource setting is set for an aggregation of second downlink subframes, in which the use of the wireless resource is set not to be changed by the repurposing message.
