    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a hollow section elongated structural member comprising three parallel spaced channel section elements (13) with three panels (11) extending between the respective pairs of elements to form a hollow section member. The edges of the panels have edge formations (17) which are received in the channels, each edge formation being shaped to conform to a side wall (15) and adjacent base part (14) of a channel. Clamping members (18) are provided for each channel having a clamping face including a main part (19) flanked by said faces (21) to act in co-operation with the base and side wall of the channel (13) to clamp the respective edge formations of a pair of panels therein and screws (23) are provided for securing the clamping members to the channel to lock the edge parts of the channels in the channels and thereby create a rigid structue between the channels and panels.

    Abstract: The Diagonal Grip Block of the present invention includes a reinforcing metal interwoven screen with "U" shape diagonal cut. Both ends are parallel in slant, cast in a concrete mixture. The metal screen protrudes from the limit of the concrete cast, forming vee shaped pins on the sides and bottom when contacting each other on a concrete surface. The vee shaped pins define the mortar thickness with a perfect bond. The core of the "U" shape is filled with insulation to alleviate the tension of the expansion and to moderate the temperature of the whole construction. This will also help the absorption of sound waves.

    Abstract: A tent stake and a method to manufacture the tent stake. The tent stake is essentially comprised of two parts which are mechanically pressed one onto the other. The mechanical pressing process eliminates the need for any welding of the two parts to hold them together. The tent stake is simply an elongated rod with an enlarged eyelet at the top through which a guy wire or a rope may be threaded. The eyelet at the top is fashioned to accept a person's finger so that he may easily remove the stake from the solid substrate in which it is fixed. The eyelet is large enough to hold a loop or grommet which may be positioned below it to hold an object in place. The stake may alternately be provided with a series of removable barbs at or near its point to help hold the stake fixed in the ground or other pertinent substrate.

The distance between the first opposed faces is smaller than the distance between the engagement face and the back face so that the insert rod portion can be inserted into two aligned looped members, and the distance between the second opposed faces is greater than the distance between the engagement face and the back face.

    Abstract: A camping tent assembly for attachment to a van or for freestanding use is of a generally L-shaped configuration for direct attachment to the rear and one side of the van. The interior side walls of the tent which are demountably attached to the van include access openings to the rear and side van doors and collars to seal the interface therebetween. The interior side walls may be detached from the van without collapsing the tent, the van moved away, and conventional tent supports substituted to completely restore the tent to and allow its use in a freestanding orientation. A portable galley unit stored in the rear of the van and directly accessible from inside the tent provides a camping assembly for complete cooking, sleeping and living needs.

    Abstract: A walking aid is disclosed herein for use in combination with a cane, crutches or the like having a foot member provided with a centrally located base formed with a central socket for insertably receiving the tip end of the cane or crutch. The foot member is provided with several raised reinforcement ribs on its top surface that radiate outwardly between the socket and the base. The foot member is substantially rectangular in plan view having rounded corners and a plurality of ridges carried in fixed parallel spaced-apart relationship on the underside of the foot member. The opposite ends of the base curve upwardly to permit limited rolling of the foot member when used with a cane or crutch during a walking procedure.

A ground-rail on each side of the vehicle includes support bars redoubtably mounted on the ground-rail, the bars supporting the weather resistant sheet and being connected over the top of the vehicle. The redoubtably mounted bars are arranged in pairs so that they can be folded over the vehicle, or folded down to the ground beyond the ground rails. For larger vehicles, each ground-rails includes a track, and the support bars are mounted for sliding along a portion of the length of the relatively parallel tracks. Flanges mounted on support bars at the ends of the ground-rails receive wheels of the vehicle for anchoring down the portable cover and for fastening down an end of the frame when it is closed over the vehicle.

    Abstract: The subject device is an auxiliary apparatus designed and structured to be appended to the lower part of a cane or crutch so that the user may have additional mechanical means to help lift his leg or foot with the aid of the crutch or cane. The device comprises in general an L-shaped frame member, the lower leg of which functions essentially as a stirrup upon which the foot can be placed, while the vertical is adapted, when so used, to be rested against the lower shank of the cane or crutch. An adjustable U-shaped collar is pivotally mounted to the upper leg of the L-shaped member serving to affix the L-shaped frame to the crutch shank. By pivotally mounting the L-shaped frame to the collar member, the L-shaped frame member can be pivotably moved to a position that is retracted upward out of the way when not in use.

    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the mounting of windows in a frame, particularly to the mounting of windows of a vehicle, e.g. an automobile, in the body frame work. The invention provides a window ready to be mounted comprising, along its edges, a first profiled bead of adhesive material, already cured and having the general cross section of an U-profile. This first bead is elastic but not plastically deformable. The first bead comprises in its interior a second bead of plastically deformable not yet cured adhesive material consisting of a substance chemically compatible to the material of the first bead. The second bead, serving as the real adhesive material, is protected from environmental influences e.g. by covering it by a protection foil which is removed just prior to mounting the window.
