  • Patent number: 11516166
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for facilitating recognition of header fields in electronic communication documents, header definition data and an electronic communication document are received. The header definition data defines one or more characteristics of a first header format, wherein the one or more characteristics include one or both of (i) keywords or partial keywords, and (ii) positions, corresponding to one or more header fields. Text-based content of the electronic communication document includes conversation segments, which include one or more headers. Using the header definition data, values of header fields of at least one of the plurality of conversation segments are determined. Using the determined values, an ordered relationship between the electronic communication document and one or more other electronic communication documents is determined.

  • Patent number: 11488114
Abstract: Disclosed herein are computer-implemented methods, computer-implemented systems, and non-transitory, computer-readable media for use of shared collaborative electronic events. A connection to a user calendar service is established by a shared calendar service. At least two electronic calendar events are received from the user calendar service. A determination is made for each received event whether a shared meeting object corresponding to the event exists in a shared meeting object store. If NO, a shared meeting object is created in the shared meeting object store for the electronic calendar event, meeting participants are determined for the electronic calendar event, and access to the shared meeting object is provided to each determined meeting participant. Providing access to the shared meeting object includes enabling each participant to add shared content to the shared meeting object and view shared content added by other participants.

  • Patent number: 11477269
Abstract: A network manager configures a first node to participate in a node cluster that spans at least a first cloud service provider and the second cloud service provider. The network manager configures a second node to participate in the node cluster. The network manager configures a third node to participate in the node cluster. • Patent number: 11457263
Abstract: The present disclosure includes methods and systems for streaming high-performance virtual reality video using adaptive rate allocation. In particular, an adaptive rate allocation system partitions a panorama video into segments or tiles and assigns priorities to each tile or segment based on input (e.g., a viewport of field-of-view) from a user client device. Further, the adaptive rate allocation system streams each tile or segment to the user client device according to the adaptive rate allocation, which maximizes bandwidth efficiency and video quality. In this manner, the adaptive rate allocation system delivers higher quality content to regions in the panorama video where a user is currently looking/most likely to look.

  • Patent number: 11445010
Abstract: A system for historizing process control data. A configurator module registers a data source device with a historian server and indicates to the historian server to generate data source registration information for identifying the registered data source device. The historian server generates and stores the data source registration information. The historian server also generates a connection token comprising the data source registration information. The configurator module forwards the connection token to the data source device, which stores the token and sends it to the historian server with data. The historian server compares the connection token received from the data source device to the connection token stored by the historian server, wherein if they match, the historian server stores the data from data source device.

  • Patent number: 11425085
Abstract: A provider network implements service discovery and renaming. A provider network includes a domain name service (DNS) and a renaming tool. The DNS receives queries for service names and sends query logs to a data store. Each query log indicates the queried name and a network address (e.g., IP address). A user may request that the service be renamed to a new name. In response, the renaming tool adds a new entry to for the new name to the DNS. The renaming tool retrieves data from the query logs and identifies clients of the service. The renaming tool sends a notification to the identified clients that the name has changed to the new name. The renaming manger retrieves additional data from the query logs to identify how many of the clients have switched to using the new name. After enough clients have switched, the old name may be decommissioned.

  • Patent number: 11395308
Abstract: Systems and methods for allocating edge computing resources may receive a predicted user route defining multiple wireless access points available along the route at respective time points and an assured delay constraint, determine, for each wireless access point, datacenters in the network meeting the assured delay constraint when accessed through the wireless access point, and construct an auxiliary graph dependent on the predicted user route and the determined datacenters. Each determined datacenter is represented by at least one node in the graph and each path in the graph defines a sequence of datacenters and a corresponding sequence of wireless access points through which they are accessible. A lowest cost path in the graph is determined and the sequences of datacenters and wireless access points defined by the lowest cost path are provided to a resource orchestrator that allocates edge computing resources for a mobile user traversing the predicted user route.

  • Patent number: 11379339
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique controls consumption of applications by a supervisee (e.g., a child). The technique detects when a supervisee attempts to interact with an application. In response, the technique receives context input signals that describe a current context affecting the supervisee. The technique then generates an output result based on the current context information and a set of rules expressed by rule logic. The technique then controls interaction by the supervisee with the application based on the output result. In one implementation, the technique automatically generates the rule logic, which may correspond to a set of discrete rules and/or a machine-trained model that implicitly expresses the rules. At least some of the rules specify amounts of time allocated to the supervisee for interaction with the plural applications in plural contexts. According to another illustrative aspect, the technique uses a machine-trained model to automatically classify a new application.

  • Patent number: 11381460
Abstract: A method includes receiving a plurality of network configuration snapshots for a network and determining whether a first data plane model protocol of a first snapshot is the same as a second data plane model protocol of a second snapshot consecutive with the first snapshot. When the snapshots are the same, the method includes determining whether a third snapshot is the same as the second snapshot. When the snapshots are different, the method includes selecting the first snapshot and the second snapshot. The method includes generating a first reachability graph representing packet reachability of the network for the first snapshot and generating a second reachability graph representing packet reachability of the network for the second snapshot. • Patent number: 11374992
Abstract: A seamless social multimedia streaming server and service is disclosed. The server receives multiple multimedia streams that are asynchronous, semi-synchronous or synchronous. The communications channels that the streams are on may be unidirectional, bidirectional or multicast. A multimedia integrator receives streams and integrates the different multimedia into an integrated multimedia stream which is rendered on a client-side device. Because multimedia streams may be integrated onto a single integrated stream, user generated content, such as texts and commentary, may be rendered while viewing other streamed multimedia, such as video. In this way, users that are geographically remote to each other, may communally participate in a multimedia experience via substantively real-time communications. Techniques to interleave multimedia, synchronize multimedia, and to modify multimedia are also disclosed.
