Abstract: Systems and methods are described that facilitate searches based at least in part on a color name. Given a reference color name, one or more additional color names that are associated with the reference color name can be identified. Colors corresponding to these color names can be determined, which in turn serve as basis for determining one or more search colors for the reference color name in a search context. The system may further identify images that contain the determined search colors. The identified images and associated metadata can be analyzed, sorted and provided as a list of items.

Abstract: A system may generate a first transaction history from a plurality of records of charge. The system may select a plurality of merchants based on the plurality of records of charge, and generate a first user profile in response to the first transaction history and the plurality of merchants. The first user profile may comprise a merchant score for a merchant appearing in the first transaction history. The first transaction history may include transaction account issuer data. The system may receive a request for content that identifies a user account associated with the first user profile. The system may further generate the content based on the merchant score in response to the request for the content. The request may be automatically generated by the application or may be in response to an action by the first user.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for generating a set of recommended media works based on an identified seed media work. The seed media work is used to identify a set of co-occurring media works, which are defined as media works that have been intentionally interacted with within a predetermined time window as the seed media work by a single user. After the co-occurrence set is created, it is ranked and filtered. Media works identified in the co-occurrence set may then be selected based on their ranking.

Abstract: A recommendation system uses artificial intelligence to identify, based on negative sentiment cues from users, item attributes, such as keywords, that users may find offensive or undesirable. The negative sentiment cues may be explicit (e.g., a user selects an option not to view a particular recommendation again), implicit (e.g., a user does not interact with recommendations relating to an attribute), or both. The system may use a computer model generated based on these identified attributes to filter or modify recommendations to a user or group of users. For instance, if a particular keyword is identified as highly offensive to a group of users, items associated with the keyword may be filtered from item recommendations presented to the group of users. If an attribute is identified as moderately offensive to a user, items associated with the attribute may be down-weighted in item recommendations presented to the user.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for re-computing pre-computed search results, such as pre-computed priced recommendations. Pre-computed search results stored in a search platform are subdivided into shares of related pre-computed search results including a first share. A re-computation controller determines a validity trend indicating a change rate of a validity probability of a pre-computed search result over time and an instantaneous validity rate for the pre-computed search results. If a difference between the instantaneous validity rate and the validity trend exceeds a given extent, the re-computation controller adjusts the validity probabilities being associated with other pre-computed search results included in a second share correlated with the first share.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing customer requests to access purchasable items using financial assessments are described. A customer using a mobile device can identify a good of interest and transmit a request to access and test it. A financial institution computing system with a database of customer financial information can generate a financial assessment of the customer and the customer's identified good, which can then be used to determine whether the customer's request should be granted.

Abstract: An exemplary system and method provides a product notification and recommendation technology for monitoring a computing device to detect particular use-cases of device activity and providing a notification through a user interface that indicates at least one product corresponding to the detected particular use-cases. In this way, the product notification and recommendation technology adds a new dimension of usage-based personalization to targeted advertising that results in timely product and service recommendations.

Abstract: A method for providing purchase suggestions to a customer is provided. The method may include a computer server associated with a store receiving multiple receipts for past purchase transactions from a customer. The server may identify products on the receipts and analyze the products and receipt dates to determine a frequency with which the customer purchases a particular product. The server may also determine a date when the customer last purchased the particular product and transmit a purchase suggestion for the product to the customer at a time correlated with the customer needing to purchase the particular product based on a date when the customer last purchased the particular product and the frequency with which the customer purchases the particular product.

Abstract: Software replaces album art stored in metadata of a music file with a personalized picture that is displayed when the music file is played on a music player device. The personalized picture may be selected from diverse sources such as social media sites or hard drives on computers. The personalized music file may be gifted to intended recipients and downloaded to their music player devices. The personalized picture is displayed when the personalized music file is played on the music player device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for facilitating collaborative shopping are described. A user creates and shares a shopping list containing desired items. The shopping list includes quantities of the items and deadlines for purchasing the items. When the user or one of his or her friends are at or near a location selling a desired item, they are alerted to purchase the item. As items are purchased by the user and his or her friends, the shopping list may be updated, and notes may be posted to the shopping list. Such updates and notes may include information regarding visited locations, prices of items, availability of items, restock or delivery dates, dates that locations were visited, etc.

Abstract: A method and system for recommending a size of a wearable item uses a data set of wearable items, in which the data for each wearable item comprises a size and, for each size, one or more additional parameters related to the fit or feel of the item. A processing device receives a selection of one of the wearable items and a size for the selected wearable item from a user, accesses the data set to analyze the one or more additional parameters for the selected item in the selected size, and prompts the user to provide personalized sizing information. Based upon the personalized sizing information, which can include primary and secondary sizing information, the processing device provides a recommended size in the wearable item for the user. Additionally, the processing device can determine if the wearable item runs true to a standard size and, if not, adjust the recommended size accordingly.

The application further transmits a request for payment transaction information to the wireless provider, receives payment transaction information, transmits a payment dialog box to the mobile communication device, and receives an input PIN and an input selection of a payment mechanism from the mobile communication device.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a shopping cart component of an electronic commerce application. The shopping cart may be shared by one or more users of the electronic commerce application. In this respect, the shopping cart represents the aggregate purchase of items on behalf of multiple users of the electronic commerce application. Each user with access to the shopping cart may add to or remove items from the shopping cart or purchase some or all of the items within the shopping cart. Further, each user may share the shopping cart with other users of the electronic commerce application. Discounts or other promotional or marketing credits or benefits may also be added to and shared by all users with access to the shopping cart.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing an app store service which implements 3rd party-based app stores by using a user's client and links the implemented app stores so as to be distributed by the 3rd party, and to a system for the same. The app store service system of the present invention includes: a plurality of app stores established for distribution; a mall integration server to manage the establishment and integrated operation of the plurality of app stores, and integrally analyze metadata collected from the plurality of app stores in order to provide app integration search and information on the basis of the plurality of app stores; and a client to perform integrated search and browsing for apps on the basis of the mall integration server and the app stores.

Abstract: An automotive near field communication (NFC) application that includes a process which is implemented as a mobile software application and uses near field communication tags to store and retrieve automotive vehicle information is disclosed. The process does not need a user to access the VIN and then manually enter or scan the VIN. In this process the VIN is written to an NFC tag using an NFC enabled mobile device and placed on the vehicle. A user can bump, touch, or place the NFC enabled mobile device on the NFC tag to retrieve the VIN. The application is configured to generate a vehicle value or vehicle report based, in part, on vehicle information received from the NFC tag.

Abstract: A system, method, and content provider server for creating a catalog of electronic content, wherein a customer accesses the catalog to browse and purchase electronic content, which is downloaded over a network to a customer premises where the electronic content is presented on a rendering device. Different pieces of the electronic content have different bandwidth requirements and impose different requirements for the rendering device. The server determines whether customer premises capabilities, including those of the rendering device, meet the requirements of each piece of electronic content, and populates the catalog only with pieces of electronic content for which the customer premises capabilities meet the requirements of the electronic content. Alternatively, the server may include all of the electronic content in the catalog while marking those pieces for which the customer premises capabilities do not meet the requirements of the electronic content.

The single page comprises a selectable item identifier for an item and a plurality of selectable checkout options for the item. The plurality of selectable checkout options comprises different types of selectable checkout options. An indication of a selection of the item identifier and an indication of a selection of one of the selectable checkout options are received. A visual representation of the selection of the selectable item identifier and a visual representation of the selection of one of the selectable checkout options are causes to be displayed on the single page. A visual representation for each of the selected checkout options are displayed as being attached to the visual representation of the selected item identifier.
