Abstract: A protective work glove defines a first enclosure integrally extending from a palm portion of the glove and defining pathways therein the middle and index fingers. Between such fingers is secured a rigid body proportioned in height to at least the height of the finger pathways and extending in length from the knuckle to beyond the tips of the finger of the user. The protective work glove also includes a second enclosure integrally extending from the palm portion in which there are defined therein pathways for the ring and pinkie fingers. Between said pathways is provided a rigid body portioned in height to at least the height of the finger pathways and extending from the knuckle to beyond the fingertips of the user.
Abstract: A robot apparatus for a double twister, which can travel along the units of the double twister, is provided with an operating arm for drawing a yarn end from a feed package, a suction arm for drawing a yarn end from a winding package, a yarn hook portion for hooking both the drawn yarn ends, and a piecing device for piecing both the yarn ends at the hook portion. The robot apparatus is operated to enable formation of a full winding package having a predetermined winding amount from a plurality of feed packages without requiring a yarn length counter.
Abstract: A protective shield is provided for secure mounting on a headlight assembly that is to be supported on the head of a user. The shield is formed of a thin sheet of flexible plastic with a mounting means that is integral with the sheet and including a flexible portion, such as a loop and an aperture. The loop bends into engagement with the top of the housing of the headlight assembly, whereas the aperture fits over the front lens where the light is projected. Tab fasteners on curved wings connected to the upper corners of the shield provide a curl to accommodate the face curvature. In an alternative embodiment for covering only the headlight, a similar mounting arrangement is provided, except at the bottom of the flexible sheet an open loop engages the housing.
