Abstract: The present disclosure systems and methods for providing a repair quote for a car including damage associated with a user. The system is configured to receive information from a user, such as photos of a damaged car, wherein the system generates and/or retrieves the repair quote associated with repairing the damage. As a result, the user does not need to physically take the damaged car to an automobile repair company to retrieve a repair quote.

Abstract: Functionality is disclosed herein for providing messages specified by a third party to customers of an electronic marketplace while maintaining customer privacy. An occurrence of a customer relationship management event configured by a third party is detected and a message is provided to one or more customers of an electronic marketplace. Actions of customers of the electronic marketplace might be tracked that relate to the message. Analytics may also be provided to a third party while maintaining customer privacy.

Abstract: A system is provided that that recognizes an order item. The system defines an order item specification including a recognition property and a dynamic parameter property. The system further receives an order item of an order, the order item including a key that uniquely identifies a conceptual model entity and arbitrary parameters, each arbitrary parameter comprising a parameter name and a parameter value. The system further extracts the key from the order item. The system further stores the key within the recognition property. The system further identifies the conceptual model entity based on the recognition property. The system further dynamically binds parameter values from the arbitrary parameters to the dynamic parameter property based on the identified conceptual model entity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for managing orders. The methods include actions of tracking performance of a fulfillment center in fulfilling orders for items at the fulfillment center, storing historical preparation information that describes historical performance of the fulfillment center, and receiving an order for an item to be fulfilled by the fulfillment center for a fulfillment time. Additional actions include obtaining a portion of the stored historical preparation information that is relevant to fulfillment of the item by the fulfillment time, obtaining current order information that describes other orders to be fulfilled at the fulfillment center, determining whether the fulfillment center can fulfill the order by the fulfillment time based at least on the portion of the stored historical preparation information and the current order information, and providing an indication to a user device that the order cannot be fulfilled.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to enable the inclusion of customized audio messages into packages for physical items. Specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure enable a user, in connection with an order to physical items, to record an audio message (e.g., a gift message) to be played back on the opening of a package including the physical items. The recorded audio message can be encoded into audio data at a user computing device and transmitted over a network to a fulfillment processing system associated with the order. The fulfillment processing system can encode the audio data into a playback device included within a package of the ordered items. The playback device may include one or more sensors (such as mechanical switches, light sensors, etc.) that notify the playback device when the package is opened. The playback device can then output the audio message to a receiving party.

Abstract: A current location of a portable computerized device can be determined within a retail store. A computer-implemented method to provide a directional aid for a consumer within the store includes receiving an item being sought within a retail store, monitoring, at the processing device, the current location of a portable computerized device, determining an in-store location of the item being sought; and displaying to the consumer a graphic describing a direction and a distance from the current location to the in-store location of the item being sought.
