  • Patent number: 11379816
Abstract: A novel method of allowing secure payments from a purchaser to a seller through the utilization of a combined server platform/vault server system. Such a system entails the generation of a subscription service that allows for authentication of a consumer's credit card in terms of pre-approved identification for future transactions. Such a system initiates a tokenization procedure through transfer of credit card information to the server platform through the vault program and to issuing banks/card providers. Upon acceptance thereof, the vault server generates a token that correlates to a specific credit card of a specific user that is then stored on the server platform. Upon request from a subscribing merchant for acceptance of a tokenized card for payments, the user merely needs to provide an identifying code to access the card for such a purpose.

  • Patent number: 11361630
Abstract: A system includes a database, a sensor, and a processor. The sensor obtains a mobile device identifier transmitted by a mobile device located within a range of the sensor. The processor receives the identifier from the sensor and stores the identifier and a first time when the mobile device was located within the range in a log. The processor receives an indication that an event associated with a security breach took place within the sensor range at a particular time that is within a tolerance of the first time. In response, the processor determines, based at least in part on the particular time and the presence of the identifier and first time in the log, that a user of the mobile device is associated with the event. In response, the processor stores the identifier in the database to indicate that the mobile device is associated with a security threat.

  • Patent number: 11348416
Abstract: A computer implemented method, computer program product, and computer system technique for optimizing automated teller machine (ATM) replenishment schedules to prevent an ATM from having insufficient product and also to prevent the inefficient use of product. The technique involves retrieving unstructured data from the users of the ATM. Then the technique analyzes the unstructured data using a natural language processing (NLP) model. The technique then inputs the results of the natural language processing deep neural network (DNN) trained with structured data. The result of the NLP and DNN analysis is a user persona. The user persona is used to generate the optimized ATM replenishment schedule.

  • Patent number: 11328555
Abstract: A unified wallet manager (UWM) virtualized as a single virtual service in which all transactions relative to the UWM are treated as immutable facts permanently stored in append-only queues or ledgers from the time of their creation. A rules engine reads conversion requests in request calls to the service, and determines which rule or rules to apply to convert funds from one ledger to another, in the same or different vertically scaled gaming systems. The UWM is a peer of other vertical gaming systems, and the gaming systems access the UWM via an API server and data egresses from the UWM through an ETL process from a database cluster. The immutable queues allow for data reconstruction using any desired data model. The ledger stores funds of many different types, including real money, points, play money, and others. Third parties can integrate with the UWM through an integration hub connected to the UWM.

  • Patent number: 11326769
Abstract: A rail nut spacer is shown and described, and may have a body and one or more threaded inserts positioned along a width of the body. Threaded inserts may be retained within the rail nut spacer by surface characteristics on each insert to prevent movement thereof with respect to the rail nut spacer. The rail nut spacer may be inserted in a first direction into a slot extending through a width of a housing, such that the slot prevents movement of the rail nut spacer in a second direction. Fasteners may extend through a bezel, through the slot, and/or through the threaded inserts to secure the bezel to the rail nut spacer. The bezel may exert a force on a media to secure the media to the housing. The bezel, media, and/or housing may be sealed together by a gasket to protect an interior of the housing from contaminants.

  • Patent number: 11321719
Abstract: A contactless card reader comprises a contactless card reader front-end coupled to a processor. A communications module is coupled to the processor and a set of sensors is coupled to the processor. The set of sensors determines parameters related to the location, orientation and motion of the card reader. The processor receives the parameters from the set of sensors and utilizes the parameters and scenario configuration data to evaluate a rule. The result of the evaluation of the rule results in a limitation on the operation of the card reader. The communications module is configured to intermittently receive the scenario configuration data from external sources.
