Patent number: 6705792Abstract: A cleaning attachment for converting a cleaning implement to a mop is in the form of a flexible cover having spaced walls for being disposed on opposite sides of the cleaning head of the implement. The walls are connected together at the bottom portion by a central support surface. Wings extend outwardly from each side of the support surface. A container having cleaning solution is mounted to the attachment between one of the walls and its wing. Cleaning solution may be dispensed from the container through slots in the bottom of the container and then through a sponge pad covering the slots so that the cleaning solution could flow onto a wipe detachably mounted to the bottom portion of the attachment. Alternatively, the container could be a compressible container which would be squeezed between the wing and the wall by lowering the implement toward the floor to thereby force cleaning solution from the container.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2002Date of Patent: March 16, 2004Assignee: Watch Hill Harbor TechnologiesInventor: James A.
