  • Patent number: 7210386
Abstract: The quickly-detachable protective cover unit of a table sawing machine includes a protective cover, a non-return plate, a protective plate, a combining plate and an extending plate. The extending plate positioned at one side of the saw blade of a table sawing machine has its inner end fixed with a quickly-detachable handle unit for positioning the combining plate thereon. The protective plate is inserted through the saw blade and the combining plate, positioned on the table-sawing machine. The non-return plate and the protective cover are respectively provided with a quickly detachable device to fit in the positioning hole of the combining plate. The components of the quickly detachable protective cover unit are combined by quickly detachable mechanism so they can be disassembled or assembled quickly, needing no tool for carrying out disassembling work.

  • Patent number: 7204023
Abstract: A rotary cutter includes a housing, a swing member rotatably attached to the housing and having a trigger extended out of the housing and having a curved slot and an enlarged opening communicating with each other. A button is slidably engaged through the housing, and includes a reduced stud to engage into the curved slot of the swing member, and a latch having an outer diameter to prevent the latch from engaging into the curved slot of the swing member. A link is coupled to the swing member, and includes a pole slidably engaged in the curved channel of the housing, and a rotary cutter blade is secured to the link with a shaft, to allow the cutter blade to be moved into and out of the working end portion of the housing by the link and the swing member.

  • Patent number: 7181849
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention a laterally folding knife is described incorporating an actuator mechanism permitting the knife blade to be moved from open and closed positions without the need for a user to touch the blade. Further, the folding knife can be quickly opened or closed using a single finger or thumb. The knife blade is automatically locked in place in either open or closed position and therefore does not require a separate blade locking mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7137329
Abstract: A circular saw clutch assembly includes an elongated rod that is coupled to a table saw assembly. A peripheral flange is integrally attached to the rod. The flange has a plurality of ball bearings mounted therein. A first washer abuts the flange and includes a plurality of depressions therein positioned for removably receiving the ball bearings. The rod is extended through a saw blade. A first fastener secures the saw blade against the first washer. A second washer is abutted against the flange. A biasing assembly is positioned on the rod and biases the second washer against the flange so that the second washer biases each of the ball bearings into one of the depressions. The rod rotates freely of the first washer and the saw blade when an item being cut by the saw blade arrests rotation of the saw blade.

  • Patent number: 7107685
Abstract: An apparatus for opening a folding knife is provided. The apparatus may include a plate having an arcuate slot and a substantially linear slot. A cam slide may be provided comprised of an extension which extends into the substantially linear slot, and an opening into which a post connected to a blade device can be inserted. The extension of the cam slide typically can be moved in a substantially linear manner in the substantially linear slot. The substantially linear movement of the extension in the substantially linear slot causes a sharp edge of the blade device to come out of or go into a housing.
