  • Patent number: 9665873
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for analyzing an activity session. Data from a monitoring device worn by a user of the system for example is received over a period of time or distance and a classification system of the invention is utilized in real time or post session to determine the activities performed by the user during the session. The data collected relates to multiple parameters monitored during the activity session. The classification system defines an activity using a set of threshold criteria for a combination of parameters and therefore identifies a particular activity performed during the activity session when a combination of monitored parameters satisfies the threshold criteria for a particular activity. Determining the activities performed in this way allows for more useful interpretation of the data which in turn leads to more effective coaching advice and feedback for the user.

  • Patent number: 9643049
Abstract: A shatter proof enclosure and mount for a motion capture element that couples to equipment, where the enclosure and optionally the mount is shatter proof or shatter resistant. Exposed areas of the enclosure or mount or both that are subject to impact may be covered with a protective layer that prevents fragments of the enclosure or internal components from exiting the layer, even in the event of an impact. For example, the protective layer may incorporate flexible materials such as silicone rubber. Alternatively, the protective layer may be rigid but effectively unbreakable, using materials such as polycarbonate. The protective layer may also include a mesh that prevents internal components from existing the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 9636577
Abstract: A trigger attachment for a game controller having a housing, a trigger extending through the housing with an exposed contact surface and operable through a trigger range of motion between a zero position and an end position, and an additional button spaced from the trigger by a housing spacer. The trigger attachment has an attachment body defining a recess with a receiving face shaped to mate with the finger contact surface of the trigger, a sloped outer front surface, an upper surface, and a lower housing contact surface. The attachment body is sized and shaped to be mounted on the trigger with the trigger's receiving face against the finger contact surface. When mounted on the trigger, the lower housing contact surface is positioned to abut the housing when the trigger is pressed to reduce the trigger range of motion by preventing the trigger from fully achieving the end position.

  • Patent number: 9633520
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for providing a lottery game includes providing players with a unique validation code for each desired play of a lottery game. A first encryption code is generated for each validation code and stored so that the first encryption code and algorithm are present only as electronic data in the computer system and are not provided to the players. Players submit their respective unique validation code for registration in the lottery game and the computer system applies the algorithm to each code submitted by a player to create a second encryption code for each unique validation code. The computer system compares the second encryption code with a record of the first encryption codes to determine whether a match exists between the second encryption code and one of the first encryption codes.
