    Abstract: The invention disclosed herein generally relates to an improved clamp assembly for attaching two or more objects, such as furniture, tables, desks, dividers or other panel elements together of variable thicknesses. The elements of the clamp assembly invention generally include a clamp body with a clamp stop and clamp spine, a cross-dowel, an actuating screw and clamp lever. The clamp assembly imparts a compressive clamping force by utilizing a fulcrum-lever arrangement whereby the clamp lever is moved in an arcuate trajectory by rotating the actuating screw in the desired direction as the clamp lever pivots about a fulcrum point. This allows the user to easily place and connect various objects, such as tables, desks, courtesy and privacy panels and another desired object that the user desires to secure in a desired arrangement by imparting a compressive force to the panel element that is to be connected to another panel element.

    Abstract: A gripping mechanism extends from a clamping mechanism. The clamping mechanism includes a fixed handle, a pivotally connected movable handle, a releasable locking mechanism, and the upper section of two opposing L-shaped arms. The lower section of each arm extends from the clamping mechanism to connect to a pair of lugs to form the gripping mechanism. Each lug includes an elongated member and a gripping surface for gripping a valve box cover lid. The gripping mechanism is manipulated to pivot the arms and move the gripping surfaces into place to grip the valve box cover lid. Once the gripping surfaces grip the lid, the arms are locked into a fixed position relative to one another to facilitate the separation of the cover, the lifting of the cover, and the transportation of the cover from the valve box.

    Abstract: A rail fence retractor allowing removal of a fence rail engaged with a fence post comprising a blade having a first and second end. The first end of the blade is configured for insertion into a fence post slot having a rail inserted therein. The rail has self-locking tabs which must be depressed for removal of the rail from the fence post slot. The fence rail retractor also has a handle which is attached to the second end of the blade. The handle allows the application of force against handle to fix the position of the handle against the fence post during removal of the rail from the fence post slot. The handle is also useful in carrying the rail fence retractor when not in use. The handles of the rail fence retractor may be configured to allow integration with the blade. The handles may be also be configured to allow a pair of rail fence retractors to fit or snap together when not in use.

The overall width of the SCR device is reduced since the structural support frame in the SCR device fits in the gaps between catalyst blocks. The overhead electric hydraulic catalyst loading device also minimizes the chance of injury during catalyst block installation by using an electric hydraulic actuated lifting mechanism consisting of spacers and structural telescopic members which may comprise holes and pins for height adjustment to allow for loading and unloading catalyst blocks into and out of a SCR device. Methods of lifting and loading and unloading a catalyst block are also presented therein.

    Abstract: An adjustable, extendable beacon mount for a wireless communication or transmission tower. The mount mounts a beacon and allows the beacon to be raised and lowered as needed. The upper weldment assembly is raised and lowered by a hand-cranked lever which activates a gear and, in turn, a ratchet pawl engages receiver notches on the upper weldment assembly, raising and lowering the upper weldment assembly. Alternatively, the hand crank could be replaced with an electric motor or other alternatively powered element to raise and lower the upper weldment assembly. The purpose is to raise the beacon above the communications or transmission antennas surrounding the top of a tower to provide a 360 degree unobstructed view for passing aircraft.
