Abstract: The front side edge of the display lid portion of a notebook computer has a relatively shallow reverse draft angle of approximately five to fifteen degrees thereon and, with the display lid in its downwardly pivoted closed position on the computer's base housing, is rearwardly offset from the front side of the base housing in a manner exposing a relatively narrow front top side surface portion of the base housing. Because of the slight undercut in its front side edge resulting from the reverse draft thereon, the grasping of the front side edge, to upwardly pivot the display lid from its closed position to its open use orientation, is made appreciably easier.
Abstract: Enclosure for electrical switching equipment including electrical control or display devices (21) supported on a wall (23) of the enclosure, being accessible from the outside, a processing or control unit (20) for these devices which is housed inside the enclosure, and an electrical interface device (1) between the devices (21) and the unit (20), the interface device (1) being composed of a housing (10) comprising a body (11) that houses a printed circuit board and encloses a row of connection terminals (30) and a connector (61) to connect the printed circuit board to the devices (21) and to unit (20) respectively, characterized in that the interface device (1) comprises an attachment part (12a) installed on the inside of the enclosure wall (23) close to the devices (21), and the terminals (30) on the device (1) are of the quick fit type.

Abstract: A plate formed with louvers and a depression to heat engage a hard disk drive motor is attached to such a drive. Heat from the motor is transferred to the plate. The louvers dissipate heat especially if they are in the path of a blower. The plate also protects the user from contact with drive components if touched during installation or removal of the drive while the drive is connected to a computer while electrically energized.
Abstract: A vending machine (9) is combined with a separate or integral skill game machine (11) and the combination is arranged so that a user can choose to use the combination in a vend mode or in a playvend mode, in which latter mode the player pits his physical and/or mental skill against the skill machine and if successful is rewarded by a free or a reduced cost vend.
