  • Patent number: 7354255
Abstract: The present invention is an improved vibratory pumping mechanism that increases the efficiency of utilization of the vibratory motion within a mechanism. More specifically, the mechanism includes a central chamber within which a piston is oscillated to draw fluid into the chamber and expel fluid from within the chamber outwardly through a nozzle connected to the chamber. The chamber includes a pressure tube connected to a rearward end of the chamber and to a secondary chamber positioned around and in fluid communication with the chamber. The pressure tube allows the negative pressure generated by the motion of the piston in either direction to be utilized in preventing any fluid from being directed out of the mechanism in a direction other than through the nozzle, thereby increasing the efficiency of the pump.

  • Patent number: 7331773
Abstract: A diaphragm is provided in a pump case so as to define a pump chamber communicated with an external member having an air chamber. A motor actuates the diaphragm to introduce air into the pump chamber and to supply the introduced air to the air chamber. An exhaust valve exhausts air in the pump chamber to lower a pressure in the air chamber. The exhaust valve is provided with a valve body and an actuator which is driven by the motor to actuate the valve body so as to open or close an exhaust port communicated with the pump chamber.

  • Patent number: 7322799
Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention recites a fan motor assembly with integrated redundant availability. The fan motor assembly comprises a fan motor subassembly with a plurality of replaceable fan motors, and a fan motor selector mechanism coupled to the fan motor subassembly, so that the fan motor selector mechanism selectively engages one of the plurality of replaceable fan motors to a fan. The fan motor assembly further comprises a control unit which is coupled to the fan motor selector mechanism which is configured to control the fan motor selector mechanism such that a first replaceable fan motor mechanically powers the fan while a second replaceable fan motor can be dynamically removed from the fan motor subassembly.

  • Patent number: 7322800
Abstract: The method provides hydraulic pressure for mechanical work from an engine lubricating system in an internal combustion engine by supplying oil to an engine lubrication gallery for lubricating the engine and to at least one variable oil demand accessory. Each of the variable oil demand accessories has an individual pressure regulator. The output of the variable displacement pump is regulated based on the sum of fluid flow required by the engine lubricating system and the engine accessories, regardless of the engine output. The demand for fluid is determined by the individual pressure regulators on each of the engine accessories. In a preferred embodiment, an accumulator stores high-pressure fluid to be used to power the hydraulic accessories.

  • Patent number: 7314354
Abstract: The invention can be used for reversible pulsationless rotor high-pressure machines which can operate in pump and in motor mode. The inventive machine comprises a working chamber and an additional working chamber, separating jumpers and regulating elements. Said regulating elements are connected to each other with the aid of a kinematic link in such a way that the motion of one regulating element initiates the motion of another regulating element. Working cavity of said working chambers are arranged in an axial direction oppositely to each other and connected to each other by means of channels. A mechanism setting an axial relative position of displacers is embodied in such a way that it always provides a sliding contact of at least one displacer with each regulating element. Said invention makes it possible to extent the functional capabilities of similar rotor machines and improve the operational parameters thereof.
