  • Patent number: 6863185
Abstract: A display apparatus for baseball bats provides a receiver having a plurality of bat support apertures arranged in descending positions from a rear surface of the receiver to a front surface of the receiver. The apertures are accessed from side surfaces of the receiver for inserting and removing baseball bats into the apertures for storage therein. A U-shaped locking bar is hinged distally at the side surfaces of the receiver for vertical rotation between a raised position allowing access to the baseball bats stored in the receiver, and a lowered position preventing access to the bats. The locking bar is therefore positionable along both of the sides of the receiver for blocking the apertures. A lock may be placed for preventing the locking bar from being raised.

  • Patent number: 6863186
Abstract: A high capacity motorized rack holds a plurality of jewel case enclosed CDs in holders flexibly inter-connectable with each other to form a rotatable continuous loop. The loop is rotatably retained within a vertical rack housing and is driven by a motor, disposed within the housing, under user control such that the loop is rotated until a desired CD is moved to the top region of the belt. A rack may hold two or more such loops of inter-connected holders. In one embodiment a holder retains a single jewel case, and comprises two independent loops that are rotated with a single motor. A preferred embodiment employs inter-connectable holders that each retain two jewel cases in a side-by-side configuration. A lamp and/or barcode scanner may be disposed on the housing for ease of CD selection. The housing base preferably is detached during shipping to permit transporting the rack in a smaller volume container. User control can include voice commands to direct loop rotation and speed.

  • Patent number: 6854692
Abstract: A swiveling gutter support or bracket is provided to be used to hang and support conventional existing gutters. The gutter support, when affixed to the gutter, keeps the gutter open as well as secured to the building sidewall. The gutter support has a first portion, an intermediate portion and a second portion. The first portion is adapted to be received within the gutter lip. The intermediate portion connects the first portion to the second portion and includes a swivel. In some configurations, especially using plastics, the first portion may be directly molded to the second portion, and the two portions would be able to rotate. The swivel connects the first portion to the second portion. The swivel also permits the second portion to rotate with respect to the first portion. Once rotated, the second portion aligns with the side of the house. An aperture is provided on the second portion structure. The aperture is adapted to receive a fastener such as a nail, screw or the like there through.
