Patent number: 8459505Abstract: A locking access plug for a valve return spring for a beverage dispensing gun handle is disclosed. The locking access plug enables the compression and retention of the valve return spring and enables the retention of the locking access plug in the body of the handle until it is acted upon for the purpose of its removal; for example, for the servicing of the handle. A beverage dispensing gun having such a locking access plug can both keep a valve return spring in compression as well as interface with a sealing o-ring that seals between the locking access plug and the beverage dispensing gun handle.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2010Date of Patent: June 11, 2013Assignee: Automatic Bar Controls, Inc.Inventors: Richard A. Patent number: 8444025Abstract: A discharge apparatus comprising at least one container (1; 101) is provided, said container receiving a component and having an outlet (2) and a discharge element (3, 103). The discharge apparatus further comprises a rotating device, which has a drive member (4; 104) and a rotating member (5; 105), wherein upon a rotation of the rotating member relative to the drive member the drive member is moved in the axial direction and drives the discharge element in the at least one container for discharging the components. A housing element (6; 106) is provided, on or in which the at least one container (1; 101), the drive member (4; 104), and the rotating member (5; 105) are disposed, wherein at least the at least one container (1; 101) can be removed or is provided in the housing element (6; 106). The rotating device, together with the housing element, forms an accessory for the container.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2008Date of Patent: May 21, 2013Assignee: Medmix Systems AGInventors: Andy Greter, Samuel Kaufmann, Wilhelm A. Patent number: 8360285Abstract: A dosing apparatus for fluid, in particular pasty, substances such as toothpaste, liquid soap, mustard, etc., comprises a pump which has a filling nozzle which forms a suction opening of the pump in order to pump the pasty substance out of a container. An adapter has an inlet opening and an outlet opening for connecting a neck or an opening of the container to the filling nozzle of the pump. The outlet opening can be connected to the suction opening. The apparatus includes a two-part adapter housing where the upper part can be substituted for using different sized and shaped containers. The connection between the suction opening of the pump and the outlet opening of the adapter is designed to be releasable. The filling nozzle is formed coaxially to the adapter.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2010Date of Patent: January 29, 2013Inventor: Thomas Grbesic

Patent number: 8225965Abstract: A foamer pump for dispensing foam has a simple construction and utilizes a single piston to reduce the volume of both a fluid chamber and an air chamber. A portion of the actuating mechanism helps to unseat a check valve at the outlet of the fluid chamber. The foamer pump has a fluid chamber, and an outlet of the fluid chamber is connected to a mixing chamber. An air chamber has an air channel that connects the air chamber to ambient air in a first position and to the mixing chamber in a second position. A piston causes the volume of air chamber and the liquid chamber each to be reduced, forcing air from the air chamber and foamable fluid from the liquid chamber into the mixing chamber where they blend to form an air/liquid mixture.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2010Date of Patent: July 24, 2012Assignee: Arminak & Associates, LLCInventor: Armin Arminak
