Abstract: In an approach to enhancing server virtualization through host sessions by re-screening a remote desktop session of a target virtual machine. Embodiments, identify, on a computer system, an open remote desktop window corresponding to the remote desktop session, and determine, by the computer system, whether one or more second remote desktop windows are embedded in the open remote desktop window. Further, embodiments identify, from the one or more second remote desktop windows, a target remote desktop window associated with the target virtual machine and generate an overlay on the open remote desktop window based on the identification of the target remote desktop window associated with the target virtual machine. Additionally, embodiments capture activity on a remote desktop screen associated with the generated overlay, and executes the captured activity on the generated overlay.

Abstract: A portable electronic device and a one-hand touch operation method thereof are provided. A touch operation performed on a touch screen is detected. When a shift amount of the touch operation in a first direction is greater than a first threshold, whether to activate a one-hand mode is determined according to a shift amount of the touch operation in a second direction. When the one-hand mode is activated, the operation interface image is zoomed out or shifted, and displayed in a one-hand mode interface display region.

Abstract: An illustrative communication provider system determines that a first virtual location of a first avatar in a shared virtual space is proximate to a second virtual location of a second avatar in the shared virtual space. The first avatar represents a first user and the second avatar represents a second user located remotely from the first user. The communication provider system detects an availability status of the second user, and, based on the availability status of the second user and the determination that the first virtual location of the first avatar is proximate to the second virtual location of the second avatar, the communication provider system provides audio content for presentation to the second user. The audio content is representative of a spoken communication by the first user. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to management of transparent glassboard representations, where a virtual glassboard is comprehensively integrated with presentation content. An exemplary transparent glassboard representation provides a layered configuration of content layers in an ordered arrangement to maximize integration of a virtual glassboard within presentation content. Some examples of the present disclosure comprise those where a graphical user interface (GUI) object is managed during the design of presentation content. In further examples, the present disclosure pertains to management for rendering of a transparent glassboard representation within a GUI of a host application/service endpoint during real-time (or near real-time) presentation. Further non-limiting examples apply trained artificial intelligence (AI) processing to efficiency automate management of transparent glassboard representations both in a design phase and presentation phase for managing presentation content.

Abstract: Examples herein include methods, systems, and computer program products for transparently determining the accuracy of image analysis and processing software where program code executing on a processor(s) determines that an image has been selected in a software of interest and is displayed in a viewer of the software of interest. The program code automatically launches a graphical user interface (window), on the screen, displayed contemporaneously with the viewer. The program code automatically annotates a region of the image in the window using an annotation defined by a specification. The program code calculates (using instructions from the specification) the first set of the values. The program code obtains a second set of the one or more values, calculated by the software, based on the annotation; The program code compares the value sets to identify discrepancies. The program code determines a reason for each discrepancy and displays the reason in the window.

Abstract: A privacy enhanced system and method of using a handheld computerized device to store and retrieve geofence based notifications, without requiring that any of the specific geofenced regions or notifications be reported on a remote server. The system enables the user to both manually draw the desired geofences on the device's touchscreen, as well as directly load the geofence associated notifications (such as various images) into the device in advance. Other constraints and executable code can also be input and associated as desired. In use, the system automatically triggers when its location sensors detect that the device is within a geofenced region, and if the constraints are satisfied, can automatically retrieve the desired notifications. In some embodiments, the system can use previously stored executable code to automatically generate additional geofence regions and notifications.

Abstract: Techniques for configuring and presenting multiple languages at a user interface executing in an operating environment of a process plant include configuring, in a configuration environment, a multi-language interface object to indicate a plurality of languages that may be presented at the user interface. The multi-language interface object includes a parameter whose value is changeable, within the operating environment, to indicate a desired language that is to be presented on the user interface. A configuration of the graphical display view that references the configured multi-language interface object is downloaded into the operating environment. Thus, during runtime, changes in the language utilized at the user interface are implemented without any additional downloads from or communications with the configuration environment.

Abstract: Application A method for allowing desktop widgets to automatically play video content realizes the form of allowing desktop widgets to support video playback. The method includes the following steps: S1 acquiring shooting resources through a camera of a mobile device, and sending the shooting resources to a desktop widget of a friend's mobile phone with one click. The method application realizes the form of allowing desktop widgets to support video playback, realizes interoperability and sharing between Android and iOS systems. This effectively solves the problem of non-immediate notification of important matters, allowing users to see important information on the desktop as soon as they turn on the phone. It also adds the function of displaying the shooting resources in a loop. The desktop does not freeze when playing multiple videos at the same time, and meets the needs of reminders and sharing in different scenarios in the form of videos.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for querying a graph based on applying filters to a visual representation of the graph. The system allows complicated graph query operations to be performed with ease visually. During operation, the system obtains data indicating vertices and edges of a graph. The system displays a visual representation of the graph for a user. The system receives, from the user, a command defining a local graph filter comprising a region in the visual representation. The system then filters a representation of the graph, and stores the filtered representation.

Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for responsive web page delivery based on network bandwidth. Upon initiation of a network communication session, a bandwidth of a network connection of the client device involved in the network communication session is determined. At least one initial display element to provide as part of a webpage for display on the client device is selected based on the bandwidth of the network connection. Instructions are then provided to the client device which cause the client device to display the at least one display element. In some embodiments, an updated bandwidth is subsequently determined and updated display elements are selected based on the updated bandwidth.
