  • Patent number: 9503101
Abstract: A phase locked loop circuit includes a first current source that outputs a current from a first output node. The phase locked loop circuit includes a driving current circuit that includes a first voltage node set at a voltage corresponding to a supplied current and outputs a driving current from a driving current node according to the current supplied to the first voltage node. The phase locked loop circuit includes a current-voltage converter circuit that includes a second voltage node set at a supplied current. The phase locked loop circuit includes a first current switch circuit that electrically connects the first output node and the first voltage node or electrically connects the first output node and the second voltage node. The phase locked loop circuit includes an oscillator that receives the driving current and changes an oscillatory frequency according to a magnitude of the driving current.

  • Patent number: 7605620
Abstract: A phase detection system for use with a synchronous mirror delay or a delay-locked loop in order to reduce the number of delay stages required, and therefore increase the efficiency, is disclosed. The invention includes taking a clock input signal and a clock delay or feedback signal, each having timing characteristics, and differentiating between four conditions based upon the timing characteristics of the signals. The phase detector and associated circuitry then determines, based upon the timing characteristics of the signals, which of a number of phase conditions the signals are in. Selectors select the signals to be introduced into the synchronous mirror delay or delay-locked loop by the timing characteristics of the phase conditions. The system is able to utilize the falling clock edge of the clock input signal, and the lock time is decreased under specific phase conditions.

  • Patent number: 6252478
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay having a motor assembly with a bobbin secured to a frame. A core is disposed within the bobbin except for a core end which extends from the bobbin. An armature end magnetically engages the core end when the coil is energized. An actuator engages the armature and a plurality of movable blade assemblies. The movable blade assembly is comprised of a movable blade ultrasonically welded onto a center contact terminal. A normally open blade is positioned relatively parallel to a movable blade. The normally open blade is ultrasonically welded onto a normally open terminal to form a normally open contact assembly. A normally closed contact assembly comprised of a third contact rivet and a normally closed terminal. A normally closed contact assembly is vertically positioned with respect to the movable blade so that the normally closed contact assembly is in contact with the movable blade assembly when the movable blade is not being acted upon by the actuator.
