  • Patent number: 7997454
Abstract: A liquid dispensing device includes a storage container and dome pump mechanism attached thereto for metered dispensing. A one-way valve is employed to pull liquid from the storage container into the dome for metering. An exit passageway serves as an output valve. Each time the dome pump housing is depressed, a substantially equal volume of fluid is dispensed from the container. To prevent accidental dispensing, the one-way valve in the dome pump remains normally open and unsealed to allow backflow of liquid back into the storage container pouch when pressure is placed on the dome. The user squeezes the dome and base plate together to seal the one-way valve to urge liquid out through the exit port for actual dispensing. Also, interior pouch force creates backflow through the exit port back into the containment chamber to further prevent leakage.

  • Patent number: 7980429
Abstract: The present invention discloses a container having a cavity for dispensing a paste and a cavity for another material. In one aspect, a first cavity for a comestible paste resides in an area between a hollow piston and a top section having a dispenser. The top section and piston optionally have corresponding male and female threads in their respective cylindrical sections. The paste can be dispensed by slidably advancing the piston towards the dispenser. In an optional embodiment, the threads can then be engaged to rotatably advance the piston towards the dispenser to dispense additional paste. A comestible seasoning or other material can be disposed in the hollow piston.

  • Patent number: 7980426
Abstract: A device (10) for the dosed discharge of a powder-form medium, in particular ceramic powder for dental purposes, including a storage container (12) with a first outlet (40), as well as a slider (20) with a receptacle (18) for a quantity of medium to be dosed, which can be selectively aligned with a first outlet or a second outlet (50), through which the medium can be discharged. In order to achieve reproducible discharge of a defined quantity of free-flowing medium in an uncomplicated design, and since there is no requirement for re-usability after emptying the storage container, the invention proposes that the slider (20) be connected to at least one spring element (26, 28), which admits a force upon the slider to align the receptacle (80) with the first receptacle (40), and that the receptacle can be secured by a lock element (34) in a position aligned with the second outlet (50).

  • Patent number: 7971752
Abstract: A cinch (10) to hold resilient tubes (22), permanently collapsed, during and between use. Partially used resilient tubes (22) can not stay collapsed without an external containment, like a cinch (10), made of a single piece of back-to-back, self-engaging material. As product is dispensed, the tube is flattened (24) to keep product at the outlet (30) and folded to form a passageway (26) wide enough to receive the cinch (10) that was stored on the tube (100). A cinch (10) inserted through the passageway (26), wrapped around the body of the tube (28), overlapped and fastened (18) to itself, will permanently hold the tube (22) in a collapsed state, ready to use and full to exclude the atmosphere protecting its contents from contamination, oxidation and drying, over the products useful life time. A tube (22) so contained may be stored in new ways. The string (11) and holes (16) allow for aftermarket decoration, identification and tracking of product.
