Abstract: A closure assembly 10 contains positive and/or vacuum pressure within a pressure vessel 16 having a neck 12. A circumferential locking member 22 supported on a door 20 locks the door to the neck, and is radially moveable between an open position and a closed position. A seal 26 between the neck and the door maintains fluid-tight integrity. A lever or other hand powered operator may be used for moving the locking member between the open position and the closed position. The locking member may include locking segments interconnected to form the circumferential locking member.

Abstract: A wafer container having a door with at least one latching mechanism, wherein the latching mechanism has a spring member that holds the latching mechanism at one or more favored positions that preferably correspond to latch-open and latch-closed conditions. In a preferred embodiment, the spring member has an over-center condition that urges the latching mechanism towards the favored positions, thereby resisting unintended actuation of the latching mechanism. Moreover, in preferred embodiments, the latching mechanism has soft stops at the latch open or latch closed condition that minimizes abrupt snapping into position of the latching mechanism. Preferred embodiments utilize a rotatable member configured as a cammed member with an elongate rigid plastic member having at least one node, forming a plastic spring. The spring is pivotally mounted on the rotatable member and pivotally mounted to the door structure.

Abstract: A golf accessory holder device designed to be held in a golf bag clip frictionally engaged to the top of the golf bag and frequently inserted and removed from said clip during the golfer's round of golf, and to prevent damage to or soiling of the pocket or the pocket entry area which frequently occurs when a golfer keeps such accessories in his pocket; said device having smooth top and bottom surfaces and having the capability of firmly holding one or two tees, a ball marker, a ball mark repair tool, and a towel, one end of said device being constructed of plastic and having a slot therein between the top and bottom surfaces of the holder device so as to define a deflectable tab particularly adapted for firmly gripping the towel by tension, but also adapted that the towel can be easily released from the device and also easily re-inserted into same. One embodiment includes a unique combination of the golf accessory holder device with the ball mark repair tool.

Abstract: A closure for containers having an opening, comprising substantially rigid supporting and sealing means for insertion in a container opening, and a covering body made of flexible and resilient plastic material which covers at least a portion of and is connected to the supporting and sealing means, and is adapted to close the container opening. The supporting and sealing means comprise an upper and lower support and sealing element operatively joined together to support the covering body in a longitudinal direction to prevent elongation of the plastic material of the covering body.

Abstract: A plastic food container has a lid and a base, each of which has a flange and an inverted U-shaped rim. The flanges and rims mate to form four seals with the rim forming a large horizontal seal and two air pockets between seals to allow for easy opening.
