Abstract: A fibrous cellulose having an excellent resin reinforcing effect, a method for manufacturing the fibrous cellulose, and a resin composition having high strength. The fibrous cellulose is microfiber cellulose having an average fiber diameter of 1 ?m or more, and is hydrophobically modified. The method for manufacturing fibrous cellulose includes defibrating raw material fiber to obtain microfiber cellulose with an average fiber diameter of 1 ?m or more, and hydrophobically modifying the microfiber cellulose. Further, the resin composition contains the fibrous cellulose and resin.

Abstract: A resin composition is provided. The resin composition comprises an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin, a polystyrene resin, a polycarbonate resin, and a phosphorus compound. The amount of the polystyrene resin is equal to or greater than the amount of the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin. The amount of the polycarbonate resin is from 70 to 90 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of all the resins. The phosphorus compound contains a phosphazene compound, and the amount of the phosphazene compound is from 0.1 to 4.0 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of all the resins.

Abstract: A water-based acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive for clothing and a preparation method thereof are provided. Since a specific internal crosslinking agent is used in a predetermined range during polymerization of an acrylic emulsion resin, a glass transition temperature and an internal crosslinking degree may be controlled while maintaining physical properties of the resin equal to those of the existing adhesives, and thus a residual ratio of the pressure-sensitive adhesive may be greatly reduced at the time of removing the pressure-sensitive adhesive from a substrate such as a fabric for clothing, etc.

Abstract: A rubber compound for the preparation of a tread portion of a pneumatic tyre. The compound comprises at least one cross-linkable unsaturated chain polymer base capable of assuming all of the chemical-physical and mechanical characteristics of an elastomer after cross-linking, a filler comprising silica, a plasticizing agent and a curing system. Abstract: Crosslinkable insulation materials, which are commonly halogen-free, for use in wire and cable applications are provided. The insulation include a crosslinkable thermoplastic polymer and flame retardant material. The flame retardant material may include a metal hydroxide flame retardant, such as a magnesium, calcium, zinc and/or aluminum hydroxide. The crosslinkable thermoplastic polymer includes silane-grafted polymer blend, which includes a polyolefin plastomer blended with one or more other thermoplastic polymers. The crosslinkable thermoplastic polymer may be curable by exposure to moisture and may include moisture curable silane functionality in the crosslinkable thermoplastic polymer.

Abstract: In an embodiment, the present disclosure pertains to a method of changing the glass transition temperature of a polymer. In some embodiments, the polymer includes at least one hydrazone-containing compound. In general, the methods of the present disclosure include one or more of the following steps of: (1) applying light to the polymer; and (2) thereby changing the glass transition temperature of the polymer. In another embodiment, the present disclosure pertains to a polymer having a light-adjustable glass transition temperature. In some embodiments, the polymer includes at least one hydrazone-containing compound.

Abstract: A process for preparing polypropylene particles by using recyclable coffee grounds plant fibers includes the following preparation steps: S1) preparing raw materials; S2) processing the raw materials; S3) mixing the raw materials to obtain a mixture; and S4) performing mixing and extrusion granulation on the mixture. The raw materials in S1 include 35-40 parts of coffee grounds powder, 60-80 parts of polypropylene resin, 2-5 parts of compatibilizer, 4-8 parts of toughening agent, 1-3 parts of diffusing agent, 1-3 parts of maleic anhydride, 0.7-1.6 parts of anti-UV agent, 3-6 parts of antioxidant, and 1-2 parts of white oil. The present disclosure adopts coffee grounds for mixing preparation, the discarded coffee grounds can be reused, the prepared polypropylene particles contain fiber components, and the performance of a material is improved.
