Abstract: An ankle harness for securing a free weight to a shoe and an ankle region of a user, the ankle harness including a pad member having a top face, a bottom face, a top edge, a bottom edge, and a pair of side edges, the top face of the pad member having a first fastener, an ankle strap coupled to one of the pair of side edges and having a top face and a bottom face, the bottom face of the ankle strap having a second fastener, a first pair of straps coupled to the pad member and extending past the bottom edge of the pad member, and a second pair of straps coupled to the pad member and extending past the bottom edge of the pad member. The pad member is secured to the user by disposing the ankle strap around the ankle region to permit the second fastener to engage with the first fastener.
Abstract: A physical fitness device that simulates the motion of horseback riding. Innovative features of the present invention include a horseback riding simulation post which extends both vertically, at a vertical angle toward a rider seated on the device, and an upwardly extending longitudinal section which extends toward a rider on the exercise device seat and terminates in a transverse handle which enables the user to grasp the handle with both hands or one hand. There are a pair of parallel crank arms with a respective one of the crank arms adjacent opposite sides of the exercise device with each crank arm having an upwardly extending section extending forwardly or rearwardly.
Abstract: The invention relates to a fastening system for a sports and recreation device. The fastening system comprises a slackline, two band clamps, and a block and tackle, and two round slings. The fastening system is characterized in that the band clamps and the block and tackle comprise round-sling bolts and slackline bolts, wherein the round-sling bolts and the slackline bolts can be guided in elongated holes and functional holes vertically with respect to their axes and can be displaced, in the direction of their axes, through cut-outs in the functional holes. The bolts, at each of their two ends, comprise bolt heads having a diameter that is smaller than the cut-outs but larger than the elongated holes.
Abstract: A hand speed training device comprised of a tight fitting sleeve which is worn on the forearm of the user. The sleeve is made of a neoprene material or other elastic material. The device has one or more elongated pockets on the outside of the sleeve. Each pocket has a slot in it. Also each pocket is attached along its periphery to the hand speed trainer. In an alternate embodiment the pockets are each attached along their periphery to the hand speed trainer however one end is left open. The pockets are oriented so they are parllel with the longitudinal axis of the device. A weight made of lead or other dense material is inserted in the pockets. The device is worn by the user during exercises. It is particularly helpful in developing upper body strength and coordination for sports such as baseball, tennis, or golf where such strength is advantageous.
Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for obtaining first wearable sensor data associated with a first fitness session and first fitness equipment and obtaining second wearable sensor data associated with a second fitness session and second fitness equipment. Additionally, an effort normalization may be conducted between one or more settings of the second fitness equipment and one or more settings of the first fitness equipment based on the first wearable sensor data and the second wearable sensor data. In one example, a user prompt is generated during the second fitness session via a user interface of one or more of the second fitness equipment or a wearable device based on the normalization.

The exercise bar device includes a U-shaped frame having a pair of handles extending from opposing sides thereof. The user can position his or her body in the opening defined by the U-shaped frame while holding the frame in various positions with the handles located on side of the user. Each handle is further configured to removably receive a weighted plate thereon for providing additional resistance. In some embodiments, the exercise bar includes an audio unit adapted to allow the user to play music or other audio while exercising. The U-shaped frame further includes a storage compartment, one or more lights, a panic alarm, and a pedometer, depending upon the embodiment.
Abstract: A training apparatus is attached to a hangboard, equipped with differently-shaped grips (projecting parts or recesses). The hangboard is vertically moveable in a supporting element at a wall or at a permanent fixed structure and this supporting element is equipped with an element or a protruding flange acting as the lower end-stop for the moveable hangboard. Springs or elastic elements act between the fixed supporting element and the hangboard to press or pull the hangboard upwards.
Abstract: A clamping device for securely engaging one or more objects through the application of pressure. The clamping device includes a primary member having opposed interior and exterior surfaces. The primary member has a generally cylindrical shape such that the interior surface defines a generally circular space about a center point of the primary member. The clamping device can receive an elongated member through the generally circular space circumscribed by the primary member. The primary member is adapted for clamping and releasing such that the clamping device may releasably engage the elongated member. The elongated member is securely retained by the clamping device through the application of pressure.
