    Abstract: There is provided a head-mounted display which allows the lengths of fastening bands to be adjusted easily and can be mounted on the head of the user with increased stability. The head-mounted display has a first fastening band and a second fastening band which extend from the front side toward rear side thereof, for being fastened to the head of the user. At least a portion of the first fastening band is made of an elastically expandable material. The second fastening band is made of a material which is less expandable than the material of the first fastening band and includes a mechanism for adjusting the length thereof.
