Abstract: Polycrystalline silicon chunks are packed for further processing and/or for shipment with minimal contamination by introducing the chunks into a cardboard container lined with a non-contaminating plastic. The process is economical, avoids the problems associated with packaging in plastic bags, and provides far less contamination and spillage during transport.

Abstract: A rectangular article boxing method of the present invention includes: a step of erecting upright and aligning a bundle of rectangular articles, gripping, lifting, transferring, and lowering the bundle and inserting the bundle between a first guide and a second guide disposed at a predetermined interval in a carton; a step of displacing the first guide to above the upright bundle; a step of moving the inserted bundle to a position in contact with the existing bundle and holding the bundles with the second guide; a step of holding the upright bundles with the first guide in place of the second guide; and a step of displacing the second guide to a position at the predetermined interval from the first guide to receive the bundle to be conveyed next.

Abstract: A salon treatment assembly (10) for use by a user during a salon treatment, comprises a foot bath (16), a salon chair (14), and an adjuster assembly (20). The salon chair (14) supports the user during the salon treatment and is coupled to the foot bath (16). The salon chair (14) can have a chair body (31) including a seat support (28), and an arm rest (32A) that is movably coupled to the seat support (28). The adjuster assembly (20) selectively moves the arm rest (32A) relative to the seat support (28) such that the salon chair (14) is alternatively positioned in a closed configuration, wherein the arm rest (32A) is positioned directly adjacent to a forward portion (28A) of the seat support (28), and an open configuration, wherein the arm rest (32A) is not positioned directly adjacent to the forward portion (28A) of the seat support (28).

Abstract: A spa cover constructed of layers of pliable insulation encapsulated within a weatherproof vinyl reinforced fabric or a rubber membrane which is attached to rigid square support tubes that run parallel to the short end of the spa. The encapsulated insulation is fastened to the bottom of the square support tubes with corrosion-free nylon anchors which allows the soft insulation assembly to span over the water and rest directly on the spa bartop surface sealing the heat in and keeping debris out. An arched fiberglass rod structure supports a weatherproof rainfly which is permanently affixed to the flat cover assembly to shed rain and debris. The entire assembly is held in place at each end with adjustable straps which stretch the cover from end to end keeping the rainfly taut. Removing the cover to access the spa involves undoing the straps on one end and rolling the cover assembly towards the other end until the desired amount of spa exposure is reached.

Abstract: A retracting curtain assembly includes a housing that may extend between walls of a shower. A motion unit is provided and the motion unit positioned in the housing. A shower curtain is coupled to the motion unit. Thus, the motion unit urges the shower curtain between a closed position and an open position.

The next step is activating the first die to create a primary curl in the intermediate extent. The next step is positioning a second die adjacent to the intermediate extent, the second die having a second radius of curvature, the second die being positioned adjacent to the primary curl. The last step is activating the second die to create a secondary curl.

Abstract: A stretch film wrapping machine includes a wrap location and a film carriage that is movable during wrap operations. The film carriage includes a first driven roller, a second driven roller and a drive a drive arrangement for the driven rollers. The carriage includes a primary frame part and a secondary frame part. A film path runs between the primary frame part and the secondary frame part and passes between the driven rollers. The secondary frame part moves relative to the primary frame part between an open position for film threading and a closed position for operation. The second driven roller is mounted to the secondary frame part for movement therewith and has a driven gear that engages with a drive gear of the drive arrangement when the secondary frame part is in the closed position. In the open position the driven gear dis-engages from the drive gear.

Abstract: A device for aiding an individual in using a urinal includes a housing configured mate with end mount to a flush valve of a urinal, and a bilateral convex mirror mounted in a frame at the front of the housing. The nature of the bilateral curvature of the device prevents individuals standing in close proximity to the user from viewing the users' private regions.

Abstract: A modular toilet is disclosed comprising a toilet shell and a hydraulic core. The hydraulic core module is a separate unit from the toilet shell module and may be non-symmetrical with the internal and external form of the shell. The core module comprises a toilet bowl connected to a siphon drain comprising a weir. The drain may be a vertical loop drain. The toilet shell and the hydraulic core may comprise mutual sealing surfaces. The drain may comprise openings for connection to a toilet ventilation system.

Abstract: A decorative reflective stopper cover has a flat, round, disc like shape. The disc has a top surface of a constant radius and an opposite bottom surface beneath. The top surface has an outer edge generally upon its perimeter and visible to users. The outer edge spans from the top surface to the bottom surface and denotes the maximum radius of the invention. The outer edge has a perpendicular orientation to the top surface and the bottom surface. The disc has multiple layers with a smooth transparent layer at the top surface upon an ink layer and then below that a substrate with an adhesive layer where the adhesive releasably connects to a sink surface. The transparent layer has a high gloss. Alternatively, the adhesive layer has a concave shape and the release layer has grooves upon it.

Abstract: A curbless shower base includes a subbase structure having a sloped floor and a zero entry. At least one side wall can be mounted flush with drywall during an installation so that a tile or other wall covering is installed flush over the at least one side wall to a floor of the subbase structure A drainage channel in the subbase structure extends substantially from a first side of the subbase structure to an opposite second side of the subbase structure. The drainage channel is sloped from the first side of the subbase structure to a drain outlet in the drainage channel, and the drainage channel is sloped from the second side of the subbase structure to the drain outlet in the drainage channel. A drain assembly has a drain outlet to connect with plumbing during the installation. A protective structure of the drain assembly at least partially surrounds the drain outlet.

Abstract: A seal for a bathing enclosure includes a first structure having a first flange extending from an upper end thereof and a second structure having a second flange extending from a lower end thereof and a channel. The channel includes a first side surface extending upward from an end of the second flange, a second side surface opposing the first side surface, extending upward from the second flange, and an upper surface opposing the second flange, extending between the first side surface and the second side surface. The second flange defines a slot between the first side surface and the second side surface and the second flange is configured to interface with the first flange.

Abstract: A toilet system includes a transport conduit, a flush member, an outer seal element which may include one or more ventilation passages there through, and an actuator system. All of these components may be mounted on a support structure which is installed on the slab or other foundation in the area of a toilet room and adjacent to a wall of the toilet room. A holding tank is located on the opposite side of the toilet room exterior wall from the support structure or other arrangement for supporting the transport conduit and other components of the system. The holding tank includes a ventilation stack and fan to induce airflow through the toilet system. The flush member and the actuator system cooperate to move excreta collected in the transport conduit to the holding tank. The outer seal element and actuator system cooperate to maintain a desired seal between the transport conduit and holding tank.

Abstract: A removable retention device for a swimming pool vacuum or pressure hose. The retention device holds the hose along a side wall of a swimming pool when there is a desire to keep the hose out of the way of a swimming pool user. The retention device is dimensioned to be placed over an edge of the swimming pool, either on a pool deck or over a wall of the swimming pool, and the geometry of the retention device is such that it captures the hose against the side wall of the pool. When restraining the hose, the retention device is situated such that the restrained hose is located at or below a waterline of the swimming pool. The retention device can remain in place or be removed from the pool when the hose is in use, after freeing the hose from the retention device.

Abstract: A sliding rail low-obstacle linkage shower room include an upper rail and a lower rail, a fixed glass, a primary shower glass and a secondary shower glass. The lower rail is correspondingly fixed on a bottom of the secondary shower glass. A sliding block unit is installed on the lower rail. The sliding block unit includes a fixed portion, a sliding groove and a guidance sliding portion. The fixed portion is fixed on the bottom of the secondary shower glass. A bottom of the primary shower glass is inserted into the sliding groove to form a linkage. The guidance sliding portion is glidingly engaged with the lower rail. The linkage shower room has a simple structure which can be easily manufactured.

Abstract: A two way spray system for shampooing and rinsing hair by saturating the entire head at once, or a section at a time with a redesigned spray handle with two control levers, and a adjustable basin spray. Inside the spray handle are three canals, a diverter canal situated between a intake canal and a outlet canal. The spray handle has a top lever that opens the intake canal sending water through the front nozzle, and a bottom lever that opens the diverter canal sending water into the outlet canal then to the basin spray in the shampoo basin. When operating both levers at once the entire head is saturated without the client having to lift or move their head. And while rinsing the back of the head the basin sprays adjustability for various length hair, children, and adults prevents water from running down their back wetting their cloths.

Abstract: A toilet handle lock device for selectively preventing a handle of a toilet from moving in a flushing motion is formed of a housing having a rear surface for attachment to a tank of the toilet. The device further includes a biased lock member at least partially disposed within the housing and moving in a linear direction between an extended locked position in which the biased lock member is positioned for blocking the handle of toilet and preventing the handle from undergoing a downward flushing motion and a retracted unlocked position in which the biased lock member is spaced from the handle of the toilet. An actuator is provided for releasing the biased lock member from the extended locked position and permitting the biased lock member to move to the retracted unlocked position.

Abstract: A device used to conceal at least a portion of a wastewater strainer associated with a bathtub. More specifically, a plate having an opening therethrough is used to overlap a flange of the wastewater strainer wherein the opening in the plate generally coincides with an opening in the wastewater strainer so that the bathtub drain is unobstructed. The plate may include a downwardly extending lip to help facilitate orientation onto the flange of the wastewater strainer. The plate conceals the wastewater strainer, thereby facilitating reconfiguration of a bathtub as the existing wastewater strainer need not be removed and the plumbing system retested.

Abstract: A toilet modified for disposal of dialysis waste includes a base, a bowl, a water supply port, and a dialysis drain port. In the dialysis drain port is an air gap device that establishes a gap between ends of first and second drain tubes of a dialysis machine and a fluid level in the air gap. RO water and effluent from the dialysis machine enter the chamber of the air gap and mix, before being passed along a path from the dialysis drain port to the bowl of the toilet, where it can be dispelled in a sanitary manner in compliant with all pertinent codes and regulations.
