Abstract: A topical depilatory made from the juice of a ripe fruit of the Solanum incanum is provided. In use as a hair removal agent, the juice of the ripe fruit of the Solanum incanum is topically applied to a desired region of skin. Preferably, the juice is left on the region of skin for approximately one hour. The juice acts as a natural depilatory agent, and the hair of the region of skin may then be easily removed by combing, rubbing or the like. Preferably, the region is then washed, following the removal of hair therefrom.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel method for compatibilizing, i.e. improving miscibility of, otherwise immiscible organic materials highly useful in the fibers industry, as well as the compatibilized product of the method. These compatibilized products are stable in the liquid phase at temperatures ranging from about 40° C. to about 200° C. The method involves use of a glycol derived from polymerization of alkylene oxide and tetrahydrofuran, the alkylene oxide having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, i.e. poly(tetramethylene-co-alkyleneether) glycol, in the mixture.
Abstract: An additive formulation suitable for antistatic modification and improving the electrical conductivity of inanimate organic material, consisting essentially of (A) from 1 to 50% by weight of an olefin-sulfur dioxide copolymer, (B) from 1 to 50% by weight of a compound which comprises one or more basic nitrogen atoms and has at least one relatively long-chain linear or branched hydrocarbon radical having at least four carbon atoms or an equivalent structural element which ensures the solubility of component (B) in the inanimate organic material, (C) from 0.1 to 30% by weight of an oil-soluble acid and (D) from 1 to 80% by weight of a high-boiling organic solvent which consists of one or more molecule types, where at least 80% by weight of these molecule types have a boiling point of more than 150° C. at standard pressure, where the sum of all components adds up to 100% by weight.

Abstract: Article for use in a dishwashing machine, which comprises a water-soluble glass or ceramic composition effective to reduce corrosion of glassware and at least one surfactant containing composition, wherein the amount of the glass or ceramic composition is within the range of 5 to 95 wt. % and the amount of the surfactant is in the range of 5 to 95 wt. %, both percentages based on the weight of the article.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a detergent composition comprising combining a plurality of components suitable for producing a detergent block which is water soluble into a fluid mixture. A mold assembly is provided which has a first mold component and a second mold component. The first and second mold components define a mold assembly having a body and a bottom. The body includes an outer wall, a bottom and outer wall which defines a mold interior. The fluid mixture is presented into the mold assembly and allowed to harden into at least a partially solid state within the mold defining a solid soluble, consumable detergent block. Once the block is at least partially cured, the first and second mold components are separated exposing the solid soluble, consumable detergent block to the ambient environment. Water soluble indicia are positioned onto the soluble consumable detergent block.

Abstract: A solidification matrix includes a maleic-containing terpolymer, sodium carbonate, and water. The maleic-containing terpolymer, sodium carbonate, and water interact to form a hydrate solid. The solidification matrix may be used, for example, in a solid detergent composition.
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus comprises a container configured to hold an article to be cleaned, a cleaning solvent dispenser configured to supply a cleaning solvent to the container, an energy generator configured to provide thermal energy to an interior of the container; and a control device in communication with the energy generator and configured to select thermal energy sufficient to sublimate the particles. The cleaning solvent comprises a solvent and nanofabricated particles dispersed therein. The control device controls the energy generator to provide thermal energy to the cleaning solvent in container in which the article is submerged in order to cause sublimation of the particles.
Abstract: Boron-comprising inks for forming boron-doped regions in semiconductor substrates using non-contact printing processes and methods for fabricating such boron-comprising inks are provided. A boron-comprising ink comprises boron from or of a boron-comprising material and a spread-minimizing additive that results in a spreading factor of the boron-comprising ink in a range of from about 1.5 to about 6. The boron-comprising ink has a viscosity in a range of from about 1.5 to about 50 centipoise and, when deposited on a semiconductor substrate, provides a post-anneal sheet resistance in a range of from about 10 to about 100 ohms/square, a post-anneal doping depth in a range of from about 0.1 to about 1 ?m, and a boron concentration in a range of from about 1×1019 to 1×1020 atoms/cm3.
