Abstract: A jewelry article, in particular a bracelet, has two branches and a clasp as a lock pivotally mounted on a pivot integral with or connected to one end of one of the two branches. The lock has a central passage extending along the axis of the pivot and a cavity communicating with the central passage and opening onto one of two lateral sides of the lock. The clasp further includes a connecting member integral with or connected to one end of the other of the two branches and intended to be fitted into the central passage and the cavity of the lock. The connecting member and the cavity are shaped so as to make it possible, on the one hand, to bring the jewelry article between an unlocked and a locked configuration by rotating the lock about the pivot after the connecting member has been fitted into the lock.

Abstract: A system and method for attaching design elements to an article of clothing are provided. The system includes an embroidered design element with a conductive layer coupled to a back surface of the embroidered design element. The system further includes a coupling member. In operation, the conductive layer is releasably and magnetically coupled to the coupling member with an article of clothing between the conductive layer and the coupling member.

Abstract: A hand operated tool for binding a load. The tool including a hollow tube with interior left hand and right hand threads at opposing ends. Opposing rods with exterior threads on one end and a releasable connection device on the other end that is screwed into each end of the tube. A gear rigidly mounted and encircling the tube allowing a pivotly attached ratcheting U-pawl to engage the gear teeth, the U-pawl attached to and carried by a handle assembly mounted on each side of the gear, the handle protruding perpendicular from the tube. The handle turning the tube in a first rotational direction drawing the rods closer together tightening the bind, the handle turning the tube in a second rotational direction moving the rods farther apart loosening the bind, the rods remaining stationary in rotation during rotation of the tube.

The shaft has a first gear, a first attachment member coupled with a first end or portion of the shaft and a second attachment member coupled with a second end or portion of the shaft. A second gear is rotatably mounted to the housing and is configured to engage the first gear to rotate the shaft around a first axis to move the first attachment member and the second attachment member in opposing directions along the first axis. A lever is pivotally mounted to the housing and is configured to operate the second gear. The second gear is rotatable about a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis.

Abstract: A small and handheld tool for opening small clasps and other closures. More specifically, the tool features an elongated handle, having a slider mechanism and a push button. The slider mechanism operates a slider or positioning arm and the spring-loaded push button operates a pair of clamps to hold the clasp in position. The slider arm and the pair of clamps extend from one end of the elongated handle. The pair of clamps secure the clasp between their rubber-tipped ends and the slider arm opens the clasp by moving a tab of the clasp radially along the surface of the clasp.

Abstract: A clip assembly is provided including a clip having a support leg joined with a control arm and a grenade pin having a grasping element and a key with a displacement control element operable to engage the control arm and hold the support leg in a retracted mode. The grenade pin is removable from the clip to disengage the displacement control element from the control arm and thereby deploy the associated support leg from the body to secure the clip to the panel. The clip can include a retention leg to retain the clip relative to the panel upon installation of the clip relative to the panel. A related method of use is provided.

Abstract: A clip assembly is provided including a clip having a support leg joined with a control arm, an actuator, and a displacement control element operable to engage the control arm and hold the support leg in a retracted mode. The actuator is movable relative to the clip and/or a carrier associated with the clip to disengage the displacement control element from the control arm and thereby deploy the associated support leg from the body to secure the clip to the panel. The clip can include a retention leg to retain the clip relative to the panel upon installation of the clip relative to the panel. A related method of use is provided.

Abstract: A zipper structure is provided and includes a first zipper component including a first zipper portion, a second zipper component including a second zipper portion, and a sealing end assembly. An end part of the first zipper portion of the first zipper component adjacent to an end of the first zipper component and an end part of the second zipper portion of the second zipper component adjacent to an end of the second zipper component are engaged with each other. The sealing end assembly is connected to the ends of the first zipper component and the second zipper component by injection molding and covers surfaces of the ends of the first zipper component and the second zipper component. A gap between the end parts of the first zipper portion and the second zipper portion is filled with the sealing end assembly. Furthermore, a related zipper bag is also provided.

Abstract: A finely-adjustable cord retracting and deploying device includes a base, a reel, a pawl disk, a knob and a control member. The base includes a first accommodating chamber, a ratchet part, a first threading hole, and a second threading hole. The reel is provided with a winding region configured to store a cord. The pawl disk includes a pawl arm. The pawl arm can move along the ratchet part to control a length of retraction and deployment of a cord. The knob can drive the reel to rotate to retract or deploy the cord. The control member is arranged between the reel and the base. When the knob is turned, the control member can move between a bottom plate and a top plate to control a total length of retraction or deployment of the cord.

This enables the cover member to be made more difficult to tilt in the width direction even if the cover member receives force.

Abstract: A clip for managing laundry items, the clip having front and rear arms flexibly joined by an elbow and shaped to form an internal loop. The front arm terminates in a dogleg shaped to minimize catching on fabric, and the rear arm terminates in a tongue shaped to ease the clip onto fabric. The dogleg and tongue angle away from an opening to accommodate fabric and guide it into a gap between the arms. The elbow flexibly holds the arms apart to form the gap, which can expand to accept the fabric and hold it in place. The arms also include teeth to improve friction between the fabric and the clip. A method of using a system of laundry clips to improve laundry results, including folding a laundry item lengthwise and attaching a plurality of laundry clips on the item to hold loose sides in place.
