Abstract: A cigarette pack with an outer pack in the embodiment as a hinge lid box and with an inner pack as a sealed block is provided with an opening tab for the inner pack and with a closure label for actuating the opening tab. The closure label is fixed on the inner side of a lid front wall by means of an actuating tab and is movable with the lid into the opening position. Pressure members cause the closure label to be pressed with regions of glue onto the inner side of the lid front wall.

Abstract: A disinfecting cap accepts a needleless injection site to apply an antiseptic agent. The cap includes a breakable seal located in a chamber between the proximal and distal portions so as to be spaced away from the opening. The cap body may include a compliant wall that deforms when a needleless injection site is inserted into the opening to removably hold the cap on the needleless injection site. In lieu of a compliant wall, a flexible skirt may extend from the cap body into the proximal portion, so that when a needleless injection site is inserted into the opening, the flexible skirt engages the outer diameter of the needleless injection site to removably hold the cap on the needleless injection site. A carrier strip may be used, wherein each of the plurality of disinfecting caps is removably attached at its proximal end to the carrier strip.

Abstract: A sharps container includes a container portion and a closeable lid. The sharps container includes any suitable cross-sectional shape having at least one wall. The container portion is fabricated from a light translucent or transparent material, such that any suitable light may be shined through the at least one wall thereof. An upper perimeter of the container portion is treated, such that light will not shine through an upper twenty five percent of the container by volume. An opaque tape, an opaque paint, an opaque printing ink or any other suitable treatment is applied to an upper perimeter of the container portion to prevent light from passing through the container portion. At least one wall of the container is treated.

Abstract: A blister package for a contact lens is provided. A deformable slider supporting a lens is movable via pull-tab or hinge to lift the contact lens out of a lens well. The deformable slider can include a hinge connected to a flexible peel-away top of the blister package or connected to a pull tab that can be pulled to pull taut the deformable slider. A blister package is also provided that includes a hinged shell having a lateral opening opposite the hinge, and a deformable slider that is folded over onto itself and seals both a top chamber and a bottom chamber. By pulling a tongue of the deformable slider, which extends from the lateral opening, the deformable slider can be removed from the closed shell and the closed shell can be opened enabling access to the contact lens.

Abstract: Introduced here is a wafer separator configured to carry a semiconductor wafer with improved efficiency, protection, and reduced costs when utilized in the handling, transport, or storage of semiconductor components. The wafer separator may include a circular ring having an outer edge defining a periphery of the circular ring. The circular ring may include an inner edge defining a central opening of the circular ring. The wafer separator may include a first-right angled recess for receiving a semiconductor wafer that extends downward from a top surface of the circular ring. The wafer separator may also include a second right-angled recess for maintaining a gap beneath the semiconductor wafer when the semiconductor wafer is set within the first right-angled recess. In some embodiments, the wafer separator also includes interlock components for connecting the wafer separator to adjacent wafer separators.

Abstract: A retention packaging assembly (100, 200, 300) includes an end retention frame (200) that retains one lateral side of an object (150) and another retention frame (300) that retains another lateral side of the object. Each of the retention frames includes a retention panel, an end panel (104, 106) foldably coupled to the retention panel, a set of wing panels configured to be folded into a folded configuration, and a sheet (208, 308) fixedly coupled to each of the wing panels. Each end retention frame retains a lateral side of the object between the sheet and the retention panel when the wing panels are in the folded configuration. In some cases, the end retention frames are laterally spaced away from each other such that they do not contact each other when they retain the lateral sides of the object.

It is suggested that the packaging (20) is a flow pack containing only a single polishing pad (2), sanding pad, backing or supporting plate or similar circular plate-like accessory for power tools.

Abstract: A housing unit for cigars with the main compartment having a cuboid shape. The cigar box has a rear wall having a height equal to a front wall, a bottom floor, a left-side wall having a height equal to a right-side wall and a two-part lid located on a top of the main compartment. The two-part lid has a rectangular portion hingably connected to a second rectangular portion with a first hinge that hingably connects the first rectangular portion with the second rectangular portion so that the first rectangular portion rotates about 180 degrees with respect to the second rectangular portion. The cigar box also has a second hinge that rotatably connects a rear of the second rectangular portion to a top of the rear wall such that the second rectangular portion rotates about 225 degrees with respect to the rear wall.

Abstract: A package comprises a housing and a slide. The slide is slidably accommodated in the housing in a sliding direction. The slide comprises a bottom wall, side walls connected to the bottom wall as well as at least one flange-shaped upper edge spaced from the bottom wall, which is connected to the side walls. The flange-shaped upper edge comprises two parts that extend parallel to the sliding direction. Each part is provided with at least one hook-shaped element. The housing comprises two side walls. Each side wall is provided with at least one recess in which one of the hook-shaped elements connected to the slide can be positioned for at least locking the slide in position in the housing The hook-shaped elements can be moved out of the recesses against spring force, after which the slide can be moved in the sliding direction in the housing. The slide is provided with a box being connected to the bottom wall of the slide. The box comprises walls located at a distance from the side walls of the slide.

Abstract: A transportation system for semiconductor substrates includes a tray, lid and packaging bag. The tray includes a bottom and circumferential sidewalls. The tray has an opening on a top side and is configured to receive semiconductor substrates through the opening, the substrates being stacked onto each other in the tray in parallel to the tray bottom. The lid includes a cover plate and at least two arms extending from the plate. The arms are configured to be inserted into the tray between the tray sidewalls and the semiconductor substrates. The cover plate is configured to cover the tray opening when the lid is fully mounted to the tray. The packaging bag is configured to enclose the tray with the substrates stacked therein and lid arranged thereon, and to be evacuated of air and sealed such that the tray and lid arranged in the bag are vacuum sealed inside the bag.

Abstract: A personal bag assembly for carrying a personal electronic device includes a pouch for carrying objects. A pocket is coupled to the pouch to contain a personal electronic device. The pocket is comprised of a capacitive material to facilitate a touch screen to be manipulated. A strap is removably attachable to the pouch and the strap can be worn across a user's body. A plurality of light emitters is each coupled to the strap to emit light outwardly therefrom. An alarm is coupled to the strap to emit an audible alarm outwardly therefrom.

Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for container. The container comprises a first sleeve and a tray element. Both the first sleeve and tray comprise holes through the sides of their respective walls. In a locked position the tray is substantially housed within the first sleeve. The apparatus further comprises a foam insert disposed within an open area of the tray element. Located between the wall of the tray and foam insert, a button extends through the hole of the tray element. In a locked position, the button further extends through the hole of the first sleeve. The button may be depressed upon the foam insert to unlock the tray from the foam insert.

Abstract: A protective cover apparatus designed to couple to a container to minimize abrasions, deformation and damage to the container due to impact forces generated from contact with an object is provided. The container includes a top open end continuously connected to a closed bottom end by a side wall. The protective cover apparatus includes an upper bumper disposed around the container proximate the top open end, and a lower bumper coupled to the bottom closed end of the container. The lower bumper has a base continuously connected to a side wall. The base of the lower bumper has a plurality of internal ridges in contact with the bottom closed end of the container. The internal ridges of the lower bumper are designed to deform to absorb and redirect the impact forces from contact with the object away from the container.

Abstract: According to one aspect, a packaging comprises a substrate comprising a first panel including a first end, a second end spaced a first distance from the first end, and opposing first and second perimeter side edges extending the first distance between the first end and the second end. The entire first panel is symmetric about a first longitudinal axis thereof extending between the first end and the second end and each of the first and second perimeter side edges is disposed at first and second widths, respectively, from the first longitudinal axis at a first portion of the first panel. The first portion is disposed at least one of at the second end and proximal the second end and the first portion has a longitudinal extent along the first longitudinal axis less than the first distance.

Abstract: A child resistant container comprising a tray and a cover is provided. The tray comprises a plurality of tray compartments arranged radially around a centrally disposed tray hub. Each tray compartment defines a cavity for holding one or more articles. The container is a “dial pack” type container, meaning the tray can be rotated with respect to the cover to expose each cavity in turn.

Abstract: A packaging system and method for reducing or eliminating exposure of medical devices to whole-room disinfecting gases and vapors are disclosed. In some embodiments, the packaging system and method may comprise a diffusion inhibitor member configured as an open-ended bag. In some embodiments, the diffusion inhibitor member comprises polyethylene or polypropylene.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the disclosure, packaging for a sterile syringe having a nominal size of less than 1 mL may include a flexible tray having a cavity for containing the syringe. The cavity may include an opening, one or more sidewalls, and a base. A lip may surround the opening, may extend radially outward from the cavity, and may define a periphery of the tray. A removable cover may have a periphery that is adhered to the lip, and the removable cover may be permeable to a gaseous sterilant, including one or more of vaporized hydrogen peroxide or ethylene oxide. A projection may be associated with the base of the cavity and may extend away from the base of the cavity in a direction opposite to the opening of the cavity.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention discloses a storage container with an integrated mat. The storage container includes a receptacle for holding various objects (Eg. toys, crafts, games), and the mat is foldably storable inside the container, wherein the mat is configured in a way such that the mat can be pulled out of the container for performing various activities using the objects, and once done, the objects can be rolled back into the storage container with great ease.
