Abstract: A cassette or box for containing and holding a planar substrate such as a reticle having a clamp bar coupled to corner supports by a spring or flexure and a linkage. A clamp bar is pivotally attached to bottom corner supports and a spring or flexure and linked to a top corner support, such that movement of the load bar causes the corner supports to pivot away from a reticle being held only at the corners. An elevation bar is also used to preposition the reticle in one direction. The present invention greatly facilitates the positioning and handling of a reticle as used in photolithography to manufacture semiconductor devices. Additionally, the present invention greatly reduces particulate contamination.

Abstract: A combined amusement and audio cassette holding device and method for presenting multi-media information to children includes a functional toy having a cassette receiving cavity which receives and frictionally engages and retains one or more cassettes or disks in the cavity in a visible but protected position relative to the exterior of the toy, whereby indicia on exterior surfaces of the cassette(s) remains visible while the cassette(s) is housed in the toy. The body of the toy may be configured to physically correspond to subject matter recorder on the cassette or disk. The toy/cassette combination may be packaged with a text which also corresponds to the subject matter recorded on the audio tape and the character or object which the configuration of the toy represents.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for carrying in-line skates. The in-line skates have blades that include at least two adjacent wheels. The apparatus comprises a base member having a front, back and bottom. The base member defines first and second slots, each open to the bottom and extending from the front to the back. The first and second slots are each sized to receive the blade of an in-line skate so that the base member is substantially perpendicular to the in-line skate blades.
Abstract: A corner support post formed from a paperboard tube includes a substantially planar outer wall and an inner wall coextensive therewith and provided with a shoulder defined by a laterally turned portion of the inner wall. A compression accommodating bead is formed from the outer wall and extends into engagement with the inner wall between the shoulder and a first end wall extending between the outer and inner walls. A second end wall, opposed from the first end wall, extends between the outer and inner walls with the outer wall, from the shoulder, inclining toward the outer wall and terminating at the second end wall.
Abstract: A connector assembly for a heating unit (10) on an aircraft sensor or indicator (or other product application) includes a plug ring (16) having an annular periphery (72) provided with a plurality of circumferentially-spaced plug contacts (40), and a receptacle ring (17) having an annular periphery (42) provided with a corresponding plurality of circumferentially-spaced receptacle contacts (27) receiving the plug contacts (40) on the plug ring (16). The receptacle ring (17) has a pair of adjacent segments each having a plurality of circumferentially-spaced receptacle contacts (27), such that the plug contacts (40) on the plug ring (16) may be received in either plurality of receptacle contacts (27) on the receptacle ring (17).
