Abstract: A computer implemented method includes: receiving location information and data about a pre-established trip from one or more vehicles each having a respective navigation device; retrieving a comprehensive computerized map of parking spaces and tow zones within a target area; a processor of the data processing system providing navigation information that enables vehicle operators to locate at least one of approved parking spaces and safe parking spaces; and the processor providing alerts for drivers to avoid parking in tow zones and other restricted parking spaces in response to receipt of location information which indicates the driver's vehicle is in close proximity of a restricted parking space.
Abstract: In a first step of a watercraft control method, a command signal to activate an automatic cruise function is received. In a second step, a target vessel velocity of a watercraft is set. In a third step, an actual vessel velocity of the watercraft is obtained. In a fourth step, a command signal is generated that is a signal to perform an automatic cruise control to control a thrust of the watercraft such that a difference between the target vessel velocity and the actual vessel velocity falls in a predetermined range of values. In a fifth step, it is determined whether or not a predetermined interruption condition has been established. In a sixth step, a command signal is generated that is a signal to perform the automatic cruise control with the thrust having a different magnitude from the thrust to be generated under normal circumstances without establishment of the interruption condition when the interruption condition has been established.

Abstract: A radio controlled (RC) vehicle includes a receiver configured to receive a radio frequency (RF) signal from a remote control device. The RF signal indicates command data in accordance with a first coordinate system that is from a perspective of the remote control device. The command data includes a lift command associated with a hovering state of the RC vehicle. One or more motion sensors are configured to generate motion data that indicates a position of the RC vehicle and an orientation of the RC vehicle. A processor is configured to transform the command data into control data based on the motion data and in accordance with a second coordinate system that is from a perspective of the RC vehicle. A plurality of control devices are configured to control motion of the RC vehicle based on the control data.

Abstract: Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities are provided for segmenting operational data and identifying events of interest in the segmented operational data. With the events of interest identified, a total time between the events of interest can be determined.
