  • Patent number: 6218018
Abstract: A solar-control glass that has acceptable visible light transmission, absorbs near infrared wavelength light (NIR) and reflects midrange infrared light (low emissivity mid IR) along with a preselected color within the visible light spectrum for reflected light is provided. Also provided is a method of producing the improved, coated, solar-controlled glass. The improved glass has a solar energy (NIR) absorbing layer comprising tin oxide having a dopant such as antimony and a low emissivity control layer (low emissivity) capable of reflecting midrange infrared light and comprising tin oxide having fluorine and/or phosphorus dopant. A separate iridescence color suppressing layer as described in the prior art is generally not needed to achieve a neutral (colorless) appearance for the coated glass, however an iridescence suppressing layer or other layers may be combined with the two layer assemblage provided by the present invention.

  • Patent number: 6200387
Abstract: Invented is a method and system for wet processing substrates (especially for semiconductor wafers and flat panel displays) using nebulized chemicals created and carried by heated chemical gases. Different heated nebulized process chemicals are sequentially pressurized into a process chamber based on various process recipes. The micro nebulized chemicals would penetrate the intricate topologies on the substrates with heated and pressurized energy, and form a process effective thin film on each substrate. The process chamber is made of a material that is well compatible to all process chemicals and gases. It is designed to have the capability of circulating the flow of nebulized chemicals and gases to uniformly treat the inside substrates. The chamber is also designed having minimum open space to save process chemicals and deionized (DI) water.

  • Patent number: 6177203
Abstract: Diffusion bonding techniques are extended to the simultaneous bonding of an array of multilevel piece parts. The problems of uneven expansion and contraction of different levels of different piece parts in the array are obviated by positioning each level of the array within a frame. The stack of frames is pinned in one corner. The opposite corner of the array has a slot at a 45° angle with respect to the x and y axes of the array. The slot engages a pin and allows the entire array to expand and contract along the slot in a manner to maintain the registration of features between respective levels of each piece part.
