A heater is provided, and activation of the heater causes discharge of the adsorbed carbon dioxide from the adsorption material, thereby regenerating the adsorption material to adsorb more carbon dioxide. In one configuration, the adsorption material includes activated carbon (or any other CO2 adsorbent) and is capable of adsorption of carbon dioxide (CO2), and activation of the heater causes discharge of the CO2 adsorbed by the adsorption material.
