Abstract: A refuse container (1) having a dome-like head (3) and an introduction opening (4) which is formed in the dome and under which a hopper section (10) is located as a refuse-introduction slope, the hopper opening (11) of which is directed toward an inner bin (14), which is disposed under the head (3), and also having an outer container (2) which accommodates the inner bin (14). The outer container (2) widens in the direction of the head (3), with the formation of an inner introduction slope (S), and in the base region (21) of the inner bin (14), the outer container (2) is adapted to the outer dimensions of the inner bin (14), the inserted inner bin (14) overlapping (U), with its upper border (13), a collar (12) of the hopper section (10), the collar projecting into the interior (15) of the inner bin (14). The inner bin (14) is thus supported in the outer bin (2) with plug-in guidance and positional centering.

Abstract: A paint tray which may be held by a painter while he/she is painting is disclosed. The paint tray includes a reservoir formed by a front wall, a right wall, a left wall, a back wall, and a bottom wall. The front wall extends upwardly at a slight angle in order to form a ramp. The ramp may be used to remove excess paint from a painting tool. A handle is attached to a portion of the right wall, left wall, and back wall which extend upwardly. A hook is secured to the handle which may be held by the painter as he/she paints. Alternatively, the tray may be suspended to a structure via the hook. A tab with a notch formed therein extends generally perpendicularly from the back wall and hangs above the bottom wall. The tab is used to hold a painting tool.

Abstract: A bamboo basket includes a bottom frame, a top open frame, a plurality of peripheral side panels respectively connected between the bottom frame and the top open frame and abutted against one another at an angle and defining with the bottom frame and the top open frame a holding space for holding things, the peripheral side panels each having a plurality of longitudinal bamboo slats and a plurality of transverse bamboo slats intersected with the longitudinal bamboo slats, a plurality of upright angle bars respectively connected between the bottom frame and the top open frame and attached to the abutted area between each two of the peripheral side panels at an outer side, and a plurality of packing strips respectively adhered to the peripheral side panels over the abutted area between each two of the peripheral side panels at an inner side opposite to the upright angle bars and a bottom side of each of the peripheral side panels.

Abstract: A compartmented container is formed of a can having a single wall and opposite openable ends. The container includes a divider sealingly affixed diametrically across the interior of the container, thereby defining two separate volumes within the single can or container. The two volumes share the single divider wall in common. The divider wall is preferably formed of the same material, or of material compatible with, the material used to form the remainder of the container, or at least the ends of the container. The divider is preferably formed of a rigid material, and may include ribs or another form of stiffeners extending diametrically thereacross, in order to resist any differential pressures which may develop between the two volumes.

Abstract: A tool box includes a case body and two side plates. The case body includes base and cover parts. The lateral sides of the base and cover parts have peripheral flanges that extend along the peripheries of the lateral sides to confine cavity halves. The peripheral flanges of the base part have opposite sides formed with first engagement portions. Each of the side plates has a lower portion formed with a second engagement portion that engages releasably a corresponding one of the first engagement portions. The side plates further have outer surfaces adapted to be provided with marks. The lower and upper portions of the side plates are retained in respective cavity halves of the base and cover parts. Stop members project from the peripheral flanges adjacent to the end faces outwardly of the cavities.

Abstract: The fuel tank assembly for an automobile comprises a substantially box-shaped bottom portion having a top peripheral flange; several highly porous filler packets or blocks made from metal foil mesh material received in the tank, each packet being formed from two to ten layers of metal foil mesh material, and some of said packets being folded over, thereby to substantially fill the tank with the highly porous packets or blocks, and a top tank cover plate sealed to the top peripheral flange.

Abstract: A container (1) comprising a base (2) and four side panels (6, 7, 8, 9), a pair of opposed side panels (6, 8) are coupled to upstanding comer posts (10) of the base (2) and the other pair of panels (7, 9) are coupled to rails (5) upstanding from the base (2), the couplings (14, 17 and 44, 19) normally allow the panels to be moved between upstanding condition where the panels are interlocked with each other and are held by retainers (12) to the base (2) and the rails (5), and storage condition where the panels lie one over the other over the base. The couplings are through panel mounted track followers (14, 44) engaged in “L” shaped tracks (17, 19) in the corner posts (10) and the rails (5) respectively. First limbs (17a, 19a) of the “L” shaped tracks (17, 19) are open ended allowing sequential demounting of the panels (6, 8 and 7, 9) from the base (2) by passage of the track followers (14, 44) through the open ends of the tracks (17, 19).

Abstract: A freely connectable chest unit assembled from two sidewall panels, a top and a bottom panel, a back panel, and a door. A first fastening mechanism firmly connects the top and the bottom panel to the sidewall and the back panels, and enables vertical connection of two or more chest units. A second fastening mechanism enables horizontal connection of two chest units at their adjacent sidewall panels. The door may be connected at one side to one of the two sidewall panels by means of a door-closing mechanism so as to be automatically or manually closed. The door is provided with a size-adjustable lock-installing opening to enable installation of differently sized locks on the door. The lock includes a projection enabling the door to be freely openably closed to the chest unit, and a locking hook enabling the door to lock and open only with a key.

Abstract: An electric refrigeration compressor, in particular for household refrigerating and deep-freezing appliances, including an outer casing, an inner body, a pressure chamber integrated in said inner body as well as a lid by which the opening of the pressure chamber is closeable, wherein the lid and the pressure chamber are provided with an annular flat rim (5) arranged in the region of the opening of the pressure chamber as well as a corresponding annular flat rim (6) extending about the closing periphery of the lid, wherein the annular flat rims are mutually couplable so as to be connectable in a stable and permanent manner. One of the annular flat rims is provided with a rib projecting against the corresponding annular rim located opposite and has a substantially triangular radial vertical section with an outwardly oriented corner, the angle of such a corner ranging between 70° and 90°. The bottom (E) of said pressure chamber is flat.

Abstract: A tool packaging and displaying device includes a mounting body with front and rear walls, and left and right mounting walls respectively formed with multiple cavities. Posts extend uprightly from each of the mounting walls, and a shoulder is formed between a respective one of the posts and a respective one of the cavities. Each of the posts is connected integrally to a transverse cantilever which is in turn connected integrally to a tongue that extends downwardly toward the respective cavity and that abuts against the shoulder when a grip portion of a hand tool is inserted into the respective cavity. A cover member has one end hingedly connected to the rear wall and a front end with a latch tongue firmly retained in a retaining slot in the front wall by virtue of a locking insert.

The rotary cover is provided with a plurality of retaining protrusions. The seat ring is provided with a plurality of locating slots. The rotary cover is located by the seat ring such that the retaining protrusions of the rotary cover are located in the locating slots of the seat ring.

Abstract: This invention relates to an insert for a liquid vessel, and in particular to an anti-spillage insert to be used in conjunction with a liquid vessel, and to a liquid vessel with an insert providing anti-spillage features. According to the invention, there is provided an insert having a wall member which is adapted to span at least part of the vessel in use so as to divide a liquid present within the vessel. There is also provided a liquid vessel including an insert as defined, the wall member being adjacent the top of the vessel. A particular utility of the invention is in relation to a drinks vessel.

Abstract: A decorative mug or cup which is designed to be sold and utilized with a decorative character skin or decorative display thereon, and wherein the decorative character skin or decorative display can be readily and easily removed from the mug for placement of the mug in a dishwasher for cleaning or a microwave oven for microwave heating, such that the decorative character skin or decorative display is not ruined, degraded or adversely affected by the washing or microwave heating operation. The character mug comprises a cylindrical mug body with a handle, a removable character skin or decorative display, and a threadedly detachable mug bottom. The threaded engagement of the mug bottom to the cylindrical mug body allows the mug bottom to be easily and conveniently threadedly disengaged from the cylindrical mug body to allow the character skin or decorative display to be easily removed from the cylindrical mug body.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding and lifting items of food for use in connection with cooking includes a network comprised of interconnected flexible heat resistant plastic members and handles formed on two opposite sides of the network, with each of the handles being comprised of a plurality of flexible heat resistant plastic members connected to the network. A portion of the handle members may be removed to adjust the length of the handle. In a presently preferred embodiment, the network is comprised of a plurality of concentric circles interconnected by radial members. The handles are preferably formed by extensions of the radial members with a plurality of looping members connected between them. The handles may preferably be adjusted by cutting the radial extension members to remove a preselected number of looping members to adjust the length of the handles.

Abstract: A lid for a drinking cup having a bottom and a sidewall extending generally upwardly from the bottom, the sidewall including an upper edge and an inner surface. The lid comprises a base, a mouthpiece which extends generally upwardly from the base and which has a longitudinal hole formed therethrough, and an elongated stem which depends generally downwardly from the base generally opposite the mouthpiece. The stem comprises two longitudinal side surfaces which are adapted to conform to the inner surface and a longitudinal channel which is formed between the side surfaces. The stem further comprises an upper portion, a lower portion and a spring element for hingedly connecting the lower portion to the upper portion and for biasing the lower portion radially outwardly relative to the upper portion. The channel communicates with the hole in the mouthpiece and, when the lid is secured to the cup, the side surfaces engage the inner surface to form a fluid passageway through which fluid in the cup may be extracted.

Abstract: A container attachment device for attaching a container to a storage container has first and second attachment elements that can be attached to the storage container and the container, respectively, to make them readily interconnectable. The first attachment element has a first anchor having a first adhesive backing for attaching the first attachment element to the storage container; and the first attachment element has a rigid tongue extending upwardly. The second attachment element has second and third anchors connected by a bridge. The second and third anchors have second and third adhesive backings, respectively, for attaching the second attachment element to the storage container. The bridge is shaped to connect the second and third anchors such that when the second and third anchors are attached to the container by the second and third adhesive backings, the rigid tongue of the first attachment element can be removably engaged between the bridge and the container.

Abstract: In a process for making a multi-chambered container that is lightweight, relatively inexpensive to produce, and that requires less external reinforcement against flexure than conventional multi-chambered containers do, a parison is heated and inflated to form the container. Further, first and second pinched-in areas are fashioned in the sidewall of the container. The first pinched-in area includes first and second wall portions that extend inwardly toward an interior of the main body of the container, and a first end wall portion connecting the first and second wall portions. The second pinched-in area includes third and fourth wall portions that extend inwardly toward an interior of the main body, and a second end wall portion connecting the third and fourth wall portions.

Abstract: According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a container having one or more side walls, including means for releasably retaining covering means comprising a flexible covering material, characterized in that said retaining means is formed on or by said side wall or walls and in the lower region of the interior of the container, such that said covering means covers the interior and at least partially covers the outer surface of said side wall or walls.
