  • Patent number: 6976423
Abstract: A printing device for seamless printing on a cloth is provided. A design is transferred from a print medium to the cloth. The device includes a print cylinder and a heater heating the print cylinder. The print medium is wrapped around the print cylinder, and the cloth is wrapped around the print medium. The heating of the print cylinder transfers the design to the cloth. The cloth is also seamless. The transfer of the design is done by sublimation of dye, which forms the design, induced by heating of the print cylinder. The print medium is a sublimation paper. An optional cylindrical cover is also provided. The cylindrical cover is placed around the print cylinder, and the print medium and the cloth are wrapped around the cylindrical cover.

  • Patent number: 6511240
Abstract: A miniaturized rolled-paper holding mechanism is capable of detecting the residual quantity of rolled-paper in both horizontally and vertically installed states of a printer. The rolled-paper holding mechanism includes a rolled-paper holder, a holder cover, a positioning member, and a residual-paper-quantity sensor. The positioning member is structured such that, as the holder cover is opened or closed, the inclination angle of the positioning member is varied with respect to a second-bottom-portion inclined surface formed in the rolled-paper holder. Further, a second positioning groove—which, when the holder cover is closed, can be contacted with rolled-paper R having a given diameter—is formed between the positioning member and the second-bottom-portion inclined surface of the rolled-paper holder.

  • Patent number: 6484630
Abstract: A stencil printing machine 1 is provided with a stencil drum 16 and a opposite 17 which are a pair of cylindrical parts located with their external peripheral surfaces being close to each other, a stencil sheet 15 being detachably wound on the external peripheral surface of the stencil drum 16, and serves to perform stencil printing process by rotating the stencil drum 16 and the opposite 17 in order that the external peripheral surfaces thereof are located close to each other and moved in the same direction while the stencil sheet 15 is pressed against the opposite 17, and by making the stencil sheet 15 in contact under pressure with a sheet of paper 22 passing between the stencil drum 16 and the opposite 17 by the pressing force of the stencil drum 16. The stencil drum 16 is detachably mounted on the stencil printing machine and provided with storage units 201 to 203 for storing information about the pressing force of the stencil drum 16 against the opposite 17.

  • Patent number: 6360659
Abstract: A frame for supporting the screen of a screen printing machine including elongated frame members retaining the edges of a tensioned screen and rigid connectors coupling the frame members together. The connectors have a pair of edges each defining a connecting surface for connection to an end surface of one of the frame members also defining a connecting surface. Either the connecting surfaces of the connectors or the connecting surfaces of the frame members are adapted to create an initial angular misalignment between confronting connecting surfaces during the coupling of the frame members resulting in pre-cambering of the frame members.
