Abstract: A detergent composition for improved textile softening and anti-redeposition includes a surfactant component, water, and a cationic polymer. The surfactant component includes (1) an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C8-C20 backbone that is ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide, (2) at least one non-ionic surfactant having an alkoxylated alcohol; and (3) at least one anionic surfactant having a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate. The surfactants (1), (2), and (3) are present in a weight ratio of actives of about (0 to 0.55):(0 to 0.55):(0.15 to 0.9), so long as at least two of (1), (2), and (3) are each present in an amount of greater than zero. Water is present in a total amount of from about 10 to about 85 weight percent while the cationic polymer is present in an amount of from about 0.05 to about 1 weight percent actives.

Abstract: Improved stripper solutions for removing photoresists from substrates are provided that typically have freezing points below about 0° C. and high loading capacities. The stripper solutions comprise dimethyl sulfoxide, quaternary ammonium hydroxide, and an alkanolamine having at least two carbon atoms, at least one amino substituent and at least one hydroxyl substituent, the amino and hydroxyl substituents attached to two different carbon atoms. Some formulations can additionally contain a secondary solvent. The formulations do not contain tetramethylammonium hydroxide. Methods for use of the stripping solutions are additionally provided.
