The hollow cylinder has a cavity, and a mounting port formed on an end of the hollow cylinder and communicating with the cavity. The drive control module includes a support member, a control assembly and a vibrator fixed to the support member. The end cover is fixed to the support member. The drive control module is disposed into the cavity from the mounting port, and the end cover covers and assembles to the mounting port. Therefore, the assembly process of each component may be simplified to reduce production time and maintenance time.

    Abstract: Toy motorcycle play apparatus comprising a toy motorcycle having an energy-storing drive-train mechanism, and a launcher for imparting energy to the mechanism and then releasing the motorcycle for forward movement. The motorcycle comprises aligned rotatable front and rear ground-engaging wheels and an intermediate flywheel, all rotatable about horizontal transverse axes. The energy-storing drive-train mechanism is formed by the flywheel, one of the wheels, and a gear train between them which reduces speed and increases power and duration of rotation at that drive wheel. In operation, the motorcycle is powered by the flywheel, which also serves to maintain it upright by gyroscopic action as it moves forwardly. The launcher holds the motorcycle in the desired upright orientation with the drive wheel elevated so that it can rotate freely while energy is being stored in the flywheel. Then the motorcycle is released, the drive wheel is allowed to engage the launcher platform and propel the motorcycle forwardly.

    Abstract: A hand puppet in which a plurality of different facial components can be removably attached to a head portion to produce different characters, such as monsters, funny looking characters, science fiction characters, etc. The hand puppet has a relatively rigid head portion, and the facial components can be attached anywhere on the head portion, and in any orientation relative to the head portion. A sleeve depends from the head portion, and has an opening at its distal end, and into which an operator's hand can be inserted to support the puppet.The sleeve is preferably formed of fabric which depicts an outer garment for the puppet and the sleeve has a pocket for storing the detachable facial components. Further, the sleeve is designed so that when the pocket is closed, it is basically hidden from view.

    Abstract: A model aircraft, such as a glider, includes a clip for connecting separable wing members thereof to the fuselage. The clip has a resilient bridge portion and spaced depending limbs. The clip fits over an arch section of the fuselage with the limbs having a friction fit in openings in the wings, whereby the wings and fuselage are secured together. The wings may fit in a wing slot in the fuselage with inboard sections of the wings having recesses locating against tabs within the slot. The arch section of the fuselage may be recessed so that the clip when assembled is flush with adjacent surfaces of the fuselage, whereby the appearance and aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft are unimpaired. The clip connection may allow for vertical hinging of the wings upon impact to absorb impact forces and prevent wing separation.

    Abstract: A toy vehicle having a spring-operated clockworks motor which is charged by a pumping action, the vehicle having a chassis on whose front and rear ends are supported front and rear wheel axles, and a body resting on the chassis. The front of the body is hinged to the front end of the chassis, a stop being provided whereby the back of the body is liftable with respect to the rear end of the chassis within fixed limits. The clockworks motor, which includes a spiral spring, is mounted on the chassis and is operatively coupled to the rear wheel axle, the motor having a spring-biased crank arm which engages the underside of the body and acts to normally raise the back thereof to its upper limit. The crank arm is operatively coupled to the spiral spring whereby by repeatedly depressing the back of the pivoted body while holding the vehicle to prevent rotation of the rear wheels, the crank is reciprocated to produce a rotary motion to wind the spring and thereby charge the motor.

    Abstract: A whistle is integrally formed from the pages of a children's book. Apertures are formed in adjacent, interior pages, and the apertures are positioned to overlap to form a resonant cavity. A slot is provided in one of the interior pages to provide an air inlet passage through which air may be blown into the resonant cavity. The cover of the book has an opening which forms an air outlet passage, through which air from the resonant cavity is exhausted. In operation, the pages of the book are pressed tightly together to seal the resonant cavity and prevent air leakage therefrom. To facilitate such sealing, the book includes printed matter indicating the general location in which the child should place his fingers when pressing the pages together.
