Abstract: The device relates to transportation and storage of bulk cargoes and comprises a vessel with upper charging opening and lower discharging opening, bearing framework and discharging mechanism, the device being further provided with soft sling load distribution ring, which passes through additional external loops of the main slings and alternately through additional loops along the upper perimeter of the cylinder, which, in turn, are embodied in the form of the load distribution triangle. The device provides improving convenience of handling multi-tonnage bulk cargoes as well as improving container reliability in use.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of forming a container comprising forming a basket portion of metal mesh material and a rail connected to the basket portion. The rail extends substantially outwardly from the outer surface of the basket portion and the rail extends continuously around the outer surface of the basket portion. In one example, the method includes forming the rail so that it does not contain or surround a free edge of the basket portion. In another example, the method includes forming the rail so that it includes an opening for containing or surrounding a free edge of the basket portion. The method may also include forming a lower rail. The present invention is also directed to a container formed by such method.

Abstract: Clamping door trays are presented including: an open channel tray; a closed channel tray slidingly engaged with the open channel tray; a clamping mechanism positioned on an underside of the clamping door tray, the clamping mechanism for drawing the open channel tray and the closed channel tray together; and a support plate located along an inside bottom surface of the closed channel tray and secured through to the open channel tray. In some embodiments, the open channel tray includes: an L-shaped channel having a closed distal end and an open proximal end; and a rim located along a portion of a top edge of the L-shaped channel, the rim proceeding from the closed distal end, along an outside edge to the open proximal end.

Abstract: A packaging assembly for a product includes a tray for holding the product, a sleeve for slidably receiving the tray, and a hanger insertable into a slot in the sleeve. The hanger includes a spring arm configured to exert a spring force between an inside surface of the sleeve and the tray when the tray is in the sleeve to increase a force required to remove the tray from the sleeve. The hanger also provides a hang point for the packaging assembly.

Abstract: Pouring closure for liquid containers with pour spout sealingly fixed to a container neck, the cross section of which is closed by a membrane before use. A portion of the membrane extends transversely, approximately pear-shaped, and connected to the remaining portion via an easily tearable line of weakness and can be detached from the membrane. After detachment, an opening in the membrane is released that is correspondingly pear-shape, and liquid poured selectively out of a relatively narrower section or wider section. The pouring closure is produced by tearing out a membrane section and facilitates dosed pouring. Webs on the inner surface at a close distance parallel to the line of weakness and outside the tear-out section run on both sides of the narrow section of the tear-out portion or of the opening and along at least a portion of a transition region between the narrower and the wider sections.

Abstract: A blender system includes a container having a rotatable blade assembly therein, a lid covering an open end of the container, and a base with a motorized unit. When the container is coupled with the base, the motorized unit is adapted to drive rotation of the rotatable blade assembly. The lid includes a hinged actuator lever adapted to actuate the motorized unit. A detent extends from the hinged actuator lever and passes through a series of apertures and presses against a slidable actuator shaft disposed in the container and maintained in its position by a spring force, thereby depressing a switch for the motorized unit. A rotatable blade system includes cutting blade(s) and crushing blade(s). The crushing blade extends longitudinally outwardly from a hub. When the hub rotates in a first direction or second direction opposite the first direction, a face of the crushing blade is leading or trailing, respectively.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a drinking dramatization glass that is lightweight and allows images to be projected on the side face of the glass by changing their aspect ratio according to the size of the glass.

Abstract: A lid for a container is described. The lid has a basin that is designed to enhance the user's olfactory experience when drinking a beverage from the container and lid. As the user tilts the container and lid to take a drink, the beverage pours through an opening on the basin valley and flows across a sipping surface area to the user's mouth, thus allowing the beverage to aerate, evaporate, and cool. The basin is sized and dimensioned to channel and concentrate the vapor rising from the beverage towards the user's nose as the user sips the beverage. The basin and the opening are sized and dimensioned to provide a comfortable and secure feeling when drinking hot beverages. In this manner, the lid enhances the drinker's olfactory experience and provides better controllability of the flow of a hot beverage to prevent burn injuries.

Abstract: A cooler for holding ice and other items includes a body defining a cavity operable to hold ice and other items, a lid, and a lock operable to hold the lid in an open position. The body has a first region that defines an opening and a second region. The lid is coupled with the second region of the body, and positionable to a closed position and to an open position. The lock includes a first component that extends from the body's second region, and a second component that extends from the lid. The first component and the second component are each configured to contact each other, when the lid is in the open position, to prevent the lid from moving toward the closed position, and to allow the lid to move toward the open position, when the lid is in the closed position.

Abstract: A heat-resistant and biaxially stretched blow-molded plastic container includes a base movable to accommodate vacuum forces generated within the container and thereby decrease the volume of the container. Embodiments of a container include a push-up portion, and first and second parting lines that are separated from one another by a gap and that extend on opposite sides of the push-up portion. Embodiments of such a container exhibit one or more of the following: (a) a distance between each parting line and the center of the base is not more than 20 mm; (b) a distance between the two parting lines is not more than 40 mm; and/or (c) a distance between the two parting lines is less than 50% of the transverse dimension of the base measured between the two outermost points of the parting lines. Methods for blow molding heat-resistant plastic containers are also disclosed.

Abstract: A soft-sided insulated container assembly has a generally box-shaped form like a school lunch box, having a main body and a lid. The lid is formed of one of the largest panels of the box-structure, and is joined to the main body of the box by a hinge that lets the lid lie flat next to the main body when the box is open. The inside face of the lid then defines a work surface on which to place objects such as foodstuffs and beverages. The work surface may be formed in a substantially rigid molded stiffener member, and may be divided into sub-regions with raised retainers to discourage sliding of objects where not precisely level. The container assembly may include a rigid internal liner with which the lid may mate zipperlessly. The mating portion of the lid may be formed in the same rigid member as the work surface.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include an insulated drinking vessel comprising an inner wall surrounding an interior for containing a liquid beverage and an outer wall spaced from the inner wall to form an air space which acts to insulate the vessel interior in order to maintain the temperature of the liquid beverage contents within a desired range throughout a period of time which is normally required to consume the entire beverage contents. The insulated drinking vessel also includes a removable/resealable lid comprising at least one integrated tamper-evident sealed content dispensing opening which, when breached, allows the beverage contents to be removed while the lid remains attached to the vessel.

The container comprises a fixed circumferential ring along an elongated hollow neck having relief cut-outs and hinges to provide depression for a plurality of container lugs. The cap comprises an elongated hollow neck having a plurality of cap lugs towards its open end. The depressor is forced the container lugs inwards in the body of the container and the cap lugs are locked with the container lugs.
