Abstract: A belt-mounted holder for spackle items. More particularly, the invention is an item that is removably attachable to a belt of a user, and functions to hold a hawk or spackle device so that the user does not have to put the item down while working. The holder is preferably constructed of simple metals or plastics, and consists of two main panels that are hingedly attached. A generally vertical panel is affixed to the user's belt area and stays against the user's body. The second panel folds down from the first panel to a position parallel to the ground. The panel folds and stays in such a position through usage of a spring loaded mechanism. Located on the second panel is a hole of sufficient diameter to receive the handle portion of the hawk.
Abstract: A case for carrying a pair of skis assembled bottom-to-bottom includes front and rear bags telescopingly overlapping. Preferably, the overlap is effective so that the bindings of downhill skis are accommodated within the overlapping portions of the bags. A padding layer enhances protection while a shoulder strap spans the bags to facilitate carrying by a user.
Abstract: A holder for a push pole for maintaining a push pole within reach of a user includes a push pole holding portion and a mounting portion. The push pole holding portion is dimensioned to releasably hold the push pole. The mounting portion is configured to be positioned on the user's body.
Abstract: A bottle carrier (10) is shown which has a connection section (14) formed from a bent strap having portions (14a and 14b) which are connected by a curved transition (14c). The connection section (14) includes a rod (40). The gripping section (12) includes a pair of claws (18 and 20) which have curved ends (18a and 20a) so that the neck of a bottle (B) can be received between the claws (18 and 20). The gripping section (12) includes a sleeve (24) which clips onto the rod (40) to pivotally couple the gripping section (12) with respect to the carrier (14) so that the gripping section (12) can pivot relative to the connection section (14). The claws (18 and 20) have curved ends (18a and 20a) which contact the upper body portion of the bottle (B) so that the bottle is retained within the carrier (10) by the combined effect of a flange of the bottle resting on the claws (18 and 20) and the curved ends (18a and 20a) engaging the upper body (B') of the bottle (B).
Abstract: A backpack includes a body defining a receptacle and having a back wall with an upper edge and a pair of spaced-apart shoulder straps having upper ends attached to the body proximate to the upper edge of the back wall of the body. A carrying handle is connected to the shoulder straps in spaced-apart relation to the upper ends of the shoulder straps and defines with the back wall of the body an opening that is adapted to accept the fingers of a user when the user grasps the carrying handle. The carrying handle includes a handle cover that is adapted to maintain portions of the shoulder straps to which the carrying handle is attached in spaced-apart relation when the handle is in use so that the carrying handle is comfortable to hold and does not pinch the user's hand.
