Abstract: A medical device troubleshooting system is provided to interact with and assist a user in resolving operational problems with a medical device. The troubleshooting system may detect an operational problem with the medical device and initiate a troubleshooting session to output a series of different tailored prompts for a user to rectify the glitch. The user prompts are selected and presented in an adaptive manner based on patient specific factors. Selection of prompts and prompt presentation may be responsive to user actions, changes in the patient, and/or the condition of the operational problem. The troubleshooting system checks the condition of the operational problem after presentation of each user prompt and determines a next user prompt accordingly, or ends the session. When the operational problem persists after ending of the session, an external support resource may be contacted.

A request to display an instance of a claim review is received, the request generated by a user in a plurality of users associated with a first or second entity. The instance of the claim review includes claims by a plurality of claimants, each claim associated with both the first and second entity. Responsive to the request, a customizable template specifying an order and subset of the claims in the instance of the claim review is applied. Each claim is accessed, in electronic form, from one or more data stores, to acquire a summary of the respective claim. Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable improved natural language processing of patient-related medical information for clinical decision support. To do so, a processor receives patient data including a written report, and accesses a dictionary of terminology associated with a disease. The terminology includes descriptors indicative of categories of the disease. The processor inputs the written report into a tokenization function to output tokens by parsing word patterns in the written report, and generating the tokens from the word patterns. The processor determines a presence in the written report of each descriptor based on the tokens and determines a category-specific score associated with each category based on the presence of the descriptors. The processor determines a category recommendation score indicative of a particular category based on the category-specific scores and generates a category recommendation representing the particular category based on the category recommendation score.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting and predicting surgical wound infections is disclosed. The method includes receiving wound site data, ambient data, reference site data and auxiliary data from one or more wearable devices, one or more sensing units or a combination thereof, a patient history data from electronic health record database, patient assessment data from a clinical professional, information associated with a patient from the patient or any combination thereof. The method further includes determining one or more desired parameters and extracting one or more features from the one or more desired parameters. The method includes applying the extracted one or more features into a trained Artificial Intelligence (AI) based data model and a trained statistical model for the patient.
