Abstract: The embodiments of the invention provide a conductive composition and a method for producing the same, a color filter and a method for producing the same. The invention relates to the display technology field, and can simplify the process for producing the transparent conductive layer, and reduce the production cost; the conductive composition comprises a modified epoxy acrylic resin, a polyurethane acrylic resin, a polyaniline, a photo initiator, a fluorine-containing acrylate monomer, and optionally a filler and an auxiliary agent; wherein, in terms of weight ratio, the modified epoxy acrylic resin comprises 15-30 parts; the polyurethane acrylic resin comprises 10-20 parts; the polyaniline comprises 15-30 parts; the photo initiator comprises 2-4 parts; the fluorine-containing acrylate monomer comprises 15-35 parts; the filler comprises 0-25 parts; and the auxiliary agent comprises 0-8 parts; the conductive composition is useful for producing a display device.
Abstract: An improved process is provided for forming a precursor to a lithium metal oxide. An improved lithium metal oxide formed by calcining the precursor is also provided. The process includes providing lithium bicarbonate in a first aqueous mixture. The lithium bicarbonate is then reacted with metal acetate thereby forming a second aqueous mixture comprising metal carbonate, lithium acetate, acetic acid and water wherein the acetic acid is neutralized with lithium hydroxide thereby forming a first mixture comprising metal carbonate and lithium acetate. The first mixture is separated into a second mixture and a third mixture wherein the second mixture comprises the metal carbonate and a first portion of lithium acetate with metal carbonate and lithium acetate being in a predetermined molar ratio. The third mixture comprises a second portion of lithium acetate. The second mixture is dried thereby forming the precursor comprising metal carbonate and lithium acetate in the predetermined molar ratio.
Abstract: The invention is directed to novel methods and compositions useful for improving the performance of electrophoretic displays. The methods comprise adding a high absorbance dye or pigment, or conductive particles, or a conductive filler in the form of nanoparticles and having a volume resistivity of less than about 104 ohm cm, or a charge transport material into an electrode protecting layer of the display.

Abstract: A voltage non-linear resistor which makes a SiC-based varistor exhibiting low apparent relative dielectric constant and the voltage nonlinearity coefficient ? at the same level as ZnO-based varistors is provided. The voltage non-linear resistor includes semiconductive SiC particles doped with an impurity, each of the semiconductive SiC particles having an oxide layer formed on the surface thereof. The oxide layer has a thickness in the range of about 5 to 100 nm and has aluminum diffused therein. A method for making the voltage non-linear resistor and a varistor using the same are also provided.
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel composition of matter comprising a polyacid and a polymer containing repeating units which contain one or more basic atoms. The complex is water-soluble and electrically conductive. The complex is useful in providing organic discharge layers for use in electronic applications and fabrications.

Abstract: Carbon fiber-filled, thermoplastic resin compositions having improved electrical properties at a given level of carbon fibers are formed from thermoplastic resin and carbon fibers associated into bundles with a binder. The thermoplastic resin and the binder are selected to be incompatible such that the adhesion of the fiber to the resin is poor. An exemplary composition is formed from a thermoplastic polymer selected from among polystyrene, high impact polystyrene, polycarbonate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate, polyphenylene ether, polyether imide and blends thereof; and carbon fibers associated into bundles with a polyamide terpolymer binder. The bundles are dispersed within the thermoplastic polymer. The compositions can be used for injection molding of articles for use as components in applications requiring static dissipation and/or EMI shielding. Such articles include electronic devices, dust handling equipment and notebook computer enclosures.
